    Granddaughter's bday party this evening, so no workout for me. Rest day after my 12 mile run yesterday. Have also been diagnosed with Celiac Disease, so no cake for me! :)

    Got a nice 75 minute paddle in with my friend, and we did about 3.6 miles (more than we thought). Super hot today, so it was great to be on the water for a bit of it. Celebrated with a red and blue Slurpee afterwards...too many empty calories, but so worth it for a quick treat on Independence Day!

    So the dojo was closed this weekend so I jogged! Just to clarify I don't run or jog. I jogged to my mom's and only slowed to a walk 3 times for half a block or so. Coming home I kept jogging the while time. It was a10 minute mile (ran 1.5 Mike's in 15 miles in 15 min). So no great shakes on time, but for my first ever jog I was pretty happy.

    The dojo is open tonight and they have a new class at 7, it's a mix of kick boxing on the heavy bag and focus pad work. Assuming I don't fall asleep it should be good!

    @sdereski, impressive! 12 miles is no where near in my future, which is ok.

    @gam3rguy, nice job! Not sure I'd ever sign up for any of those.

    @CGJM75 , well done.

    @MichealaShepard, great job.

    Happy 4th of July to all my American friends.

    @sagefemme1 , it's hard to get the weight of in menopause, but weight lifting and building muscle mass helps.

    Hope everyone had a great weekend. I am on vacation this week! Not going anywhere, just taking some time off from work. I had a 4-mile run yesterday and also did DB365 for strength. Today I plan to take a long walk and do some more DB365. I kinda like this working out twice a day thing. :smile:

    Back, arms, and abs today then 30 minutes of sprints- 30 seconds on and 30 seconds off. My legs are shredded from yesterday but the running still felt good.

    Today's DB365 was a kickboxing workout, so I couldn't resist. I love kickboxing!

    Also walked 9 miles, without sunscreen, and now I have a lovely sunburn.

    Hey!!!! Sounds like where I need to be. How do you join though? Need to lose about 60 lbs. I'm 47 and sometimes really lacking in motivation. Would also love some Fitbit friends! Anniewhitley@me.com.

    Heading to body pump class today. Not much exercise this past weekend unless floating on a tube in the lake counts. ;)
    Have a great workout!

    Chest and abs. Legs too sore to run (this has never happened before) so I-gulp-walked instead.

    Legs were a bit sore from the gym yesterday but still went out for a bike ride with a couple for friends. Lucky that they wanted an easy ride so after a short 30km/18miles we went for a sit-down breakfast then a leisurely ride home. Totaled to 56km/34 miles. Good day indeed!

    Was supposed to train with my PT yesterday after more than a month off, but it was raining, I was tired, so canceled. Went for another 10km run instead. Despite being so tired, it ended up being a pretty good run. Didn't make it up the BFH though :(

    Going into town tonight for a one hour HIIT class. Been feeling tired and blah so hoping this will rejuvenate me.

    OMG @narak_lol - 34 miles RT for a "short" ride...wow! My idea of a short ride is about 30 less than that. And @sdereski you "only ran" a 10K because you were tired?! You people are amazing!! Not to mention @gam3rguy and all your competitions. I'm always motivated to come in here to see what everyone is up to...it forces me to get my butt off the sofa. Good job to all who are posting their workouts here! You are all an inspiration!

    Took a rest day yesterday so was planning to paddle today...however, storms have popped up in the area already. Might have to settle for a walk instead. :( I did just finish 300 jumping jacks for a mini-challenge. Might work on my planks while waiting to see what the weather ends up doing. Since I have a class later today, I can't wait too much longer to get out on the water if I'm going, but I never go out when there are storms too close. :/

    Switched back to AOS - Newport for my workout today after doing Providence as my kettlebell workout for the past 5-6 weeks.....and I had apparently forgotten how incredibly hard it is, nice and humbling. Supposed to rain most of the weekend here which should bode well for my daughters planned beach party. :)
