Hi all,
Frigid cold here this past week. Ran Tuesday, walked Wed & Thursday. Still getting it done outside, so that's cool. No pun intended.
Snowshoe hike on tap for tomorrow.
Hope to get back to P90X this weekend as well. I love the workouts, Tony, not so much.

Happy Friday, cool ones.....
60 minutes on the bike trainer on tap for today.
Training will get more interesting this weekend, since we'll start to move our race pace work into the long runs. Seventeen miler will start out as 3 miles easy, then 4@ race pace, 3 easy, 4 Race pace, then finish with 3 easy. Temps will be around 20 degrees, so keeping water bottles unfrozen will be a chore.
Shorter, easy paced run is planned for Sunday, followed by our first 90 minute swim clinic session. Then its nap time.

Here's a few. These are SOME of what's going to the surplus warehouse next week. We lugged a few file cabinets today too. Two were empty...BORING.

I lost one lb this week, so that was good news, for me. I tried a "stretching" class at my gym, today. Only two participants showed up and the instructor just mansplained the *kitten* outta EVeRYthIng instead of just running a "stretch class". Ugh.
Anyway, I will keep my calories the same, for next week, but am going to add-in one more cardio session to my ordinary workout schedule. BOOM!2 -
Mid 40s now but who cares right! In the gym this morning and 1hr karate session tomorrow morning. Its the weekend afterall2

So this is where the cool kids hang out?? I'm just getting back into MFP after taking a solid year off and gaining 20 lbs. Grrr. I took my first Piyo class Tuesday and was sore until this morning. So I did another one this morning and am here to figure out the best weight loss program that I will stick with. Just turned 43 last month.5

This morning I really enjoyed the first day of an 8 week swim clinic, but I had very little "juice" during the 200 yard timed swim. I'm sure that is because I'm still feeling the effects of yesterdays long run. This afternoon, I have a choice between an easy 4 mile run or a bike trainer ride. Once that's done, the challenge will be to keep from eating every bit of food in the house.4

Another 2 hour snowshoe hike. Here are a couple of pictures from today's hike. Lots of climbing.
A view from the top.
