*No Authority (Most probably don't know who they are, but I saw one girl on here who does :-) )
    *O-Town - A friend and I actually interviewed them for a newspaper.
    *Nick Cannon
*Benji and Joel Madden (Good Charlotte)
    *Simple Plan
    *Matt Nathanson
    *Dane Cook
*Hanson (kinda. They were standing right in front of me signing autographs)
*Lou Pearlman.....the famous boyband creator from Florida

And I feel like I am forgetting some, but I can't think of anymore...

    I knew I forgot some...

    *Third Eye Blind
    *Hot Chelle Rae

i used to work in a whole foods on beacon hill in boston..any time any celebrities were in town filming [boston is like mini LA now i suppose] id end up meeting them..

i rang in christopher walkens groceries once. manny rameriz came in constantly when he was still playing for the sox.. rang in mark ruffalo from eternal sunshine of the spotless mind. cameron diaz came in once. giselle and tom brady were in on more than once occasion.

my friends cousin is also the singer in the band ok go.. theyre not ultra famous but they have that music video that was number 1 on youtube before lady gaga came around of the band doing a dance on a bunch of treadmills. so, ive met all of them numerous times even camped with them up in new hampshire a few summers ago!

i think thats it for 'famous' encounters!

Ummm Mark Ruffalo, Cameron Diaz, CHRISTOPHER WALKEN'S GROCERIES??? amazing!!

    Hmm let me think

    - Jimmy Saville (British tv and radio show presenter, OBE, famously ran marathons at a stupidly old age) - he lived near my grandparents and used to sometimes help his mate out in the local park cafe - he served me tea!
    - Mark Lamarr (British tv and radio presenter and comedian) - met him in a nightclub in Nottingham on a night out
    - Roger Taylor (drummer from Queen) - walked smack into him when drunk outside the same nightclub as above, no memory of it though!
    - one of the big brother winners, the gay bloke - in a nightclub in London
    - Princess Anne - at a girl guide camp when I was a kid
    - Stephen K Amos (comedian) - in a nightclub in Manchester
    - 80s pop band Human League - an old school friend's brother was the keyboard player

hmm, I seem to meet a lot of famous people in nightclubs!!!

oh and a whole heap of "famous" scientists through work, Dawkins being probably the most famous, but several Lords and OBEs etc, and a handful of famous actors through my sister's work (she's a stage manager)

    Forgot a few...
    - Nancy Cartwright (the voice of Bart Simpson) and her manager - I worked in a gift shop in Edinburgh and they were doing the Edinburgh festival
    - Radiohead - they dont live very far away and I was having lunch in their local pub one day

Barry Manilow - sang backup for him in a concert at my college

Robert Redford - had a nice but brief conversation with him up at Sundance until one of my stupid friends ran up and started screaming. At that point he rolled his eyes and walked away.

I used to serve coffee to Tiger Woods nearly everyday in 2009. Actually chai.

One time Shaq wandered into my Starbucks looking for Tiger Woods. I guess they were supposed to meet there and he asked every barista if they had seen him or if they knew where he might be. (No cell phone Shaq?)

I also had many long conversations with Matt Shadows from Avenged Sevenfold long before they were anywhere near famous.
