I just had lunch. A pita with hummus, cucumber slices, tomato slices and grated carrot.
No DH for dinner tonight so I might have the same thing! I might be wild and add a few slices of bacon!0 -

How about Baba ganoosh (may be spelling wrong)? Anybody like this??
It is similar but made with roasted eggplant.. I love it out at restaurants, but have not been able to find a good store brand or recipe..
Suggestions appreciated..

A good store bought version of baba ganoush is the President's Choice brand. It's only available in Canada ... not sure where you live but if you're in Canada it worth a trip to the grocery store0 -

Oh gosh, this is what I had as well.
Sabre roasted garlic with triscuits for lunch, with a lettuce wrap (turkey, tomatoe, light cheese, ligh mayo on a romaine lettuce leaf)
I liked the bowl clean that contained the hummus0 -
and on the 6th day the HummusLord said-
Let there be Hummus...and there was Hummus to be had....
but the HummusLord also said...

ok, all this talk about hummus and i had to buy some today to try, the only kind they had was some lemon dill stuff and some Roasted Garlic, going to give it a try tomorrow...............i'll let you know what i think.............also bought some of that laughing cow i keep hearing about on here, i bought the light........i'll let you know on that too tomorrow!!0

I found a new kind y'day. It's from Wild Country and the Roasted red pepper only has 35 cals for 2 Tablespoons! I think I'm in love! My new fav... La tortilla low-carb tortilla spread w/ 1 laughing cow light cheese wedge and then spread the hummus on that. 120 cals of YUM!! :bigsmile:0
