2008 Linkin Park at Madison Square Garden - Jay-Z made a surprise appearance and preformed Numb. It was AWESOME.

I was fortunate enough to see Michael Jackson performing in his prime. It was in '88, I was 7, I still remember watching him move and being in awe. Incredible show
I am INCREDIBLY jealous of this. I am a HUGE MJ fan. Unfortunately, I was born in the wrong decade (88) so I will never get the chance to see him perform other than dvd's and videos. I have his Live in Bucharest (the one that aired on HBO from his Dangerous tour) and my dad had taped it. I watched it so much that I had ruined the tape. I finally found it on DVD and honestly cried when I found it because I thought I would never be able to see it again. And I honestly cried the day that I found he died. I still cry. I have the newspaper from the next day with him on the front page and a few of the following magazines that I have in plastic cases.0 -
Toss up between Oingo Boingo (3rd row- which means standing at the stage!) Or UB40 (11th row-also means stage front) both in the 80s, both were pretty awesome live. (Saw Boingo several times) Recently Bruno Mars (about 14th row) and Brad Paisley with Blake Shelton (11th row). Once you've had close seats... you can't really go back to sitting 'back there'. ;-)
*****cat Dolls with Black Eyed Peas also pretty spectacular!0 -

Big 4 in 2010. Well, I guess it was 3 of the Big 4... Metallica didn't play for some reason, but that just meant that Slayer got double the time to play. I liked it. I want to do dirty things to this man

We saw Tenacious D! They weren't even listed on the roster when we bought the tickets.
It was Jimmy Eat Wold opening for Weezer, and a random Tenacious D appearance in the middle!
Weezer had crazy theatrics, and the whole vibe of the concert was perfect.0 -
