No contest - Rammstein!!!!!! No one approaches the live show of Rammstein with the fire and theatrics. They are a must see!!!!

    I also enjoyed

    Avenged Sevenfold
    Anthrax
    Iron Maiden

    Lady Gaga. Seriously.
First of all, it was a freak show. I had ripped up fishnets, black mini dress, ankle boots, glitter eyes, spiked bracelet and black glittery nails and I was still one of the modestly dressed ones there.
She sang all her songs live. It was amaze-balls!!! It was loud and crazy.
I danced like it was 1999!!!!!

I've seen some awesome shows, but the hands down life-changing concert was Paul McCartney last year at Cowboys Stadium in Dallas. There were tears. He is amazing.

Beach Boys because it was my first concert. It must have been early 80's.
Joan Jett the 2nd time because it was the first concert I took my youngest daughter to. That was about 5 years ago.
Rick Springfield this year because it took me 30 damn years to see that man in concert and he lived up to all my expectations!

A whole bunch of others along the years but those stand out the most.

Queen+Paul Rogers, Budapest (yeah, that was the best.)
    Roger Daltrey, Glasgow
Roger Daltrey, Broomfield, Colorado (I was lucky enough to be moving home between the two so I actually got to see him both times!).

And on a non classic rock note, I saw Gogol Bordello and Primus at Red Rocks at the height of the Perseid Meteor Showers one year and that was *cool.* A rock show in multiple senses of the term.
  • 1.Coldplay (Surprisingly it was my favorite one! Amazing performance)
    2.Red Hot Chili Peppers
    3.U2
    4.Blink 182/ Green Day
    5.Incubus
6.As Tall As Lions (This band split up now but they were great live!)

The Fixmer McCarthy (of Nitzer Ebb) show in Austin. Best performance I've seen for being just 2 guys, a mic and a laptop! LOL. The energy that McCarthy radiated on that show was great! One of my favorites by far.
    That's me with him, I was 4 months pregnant.

Flogging Molly always plays here on St Patricks day and it ALWAYS rocks!
    System of a Down
Steve Roach & Jorge Reyes (very good ambient meditation music)
    Rancid
    Tori Amos
Godsmack (this was powerful! all that drumming was amazing)

Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head:)
  • 1. Motorhead - Auckland Town Hall 1991 or there abouts - it was THE LOUDEST concert I've ever been to. Think myself and my friend were the only girls there too :P
    2. Lady Gaga - Vector Arena, Auckland Monster Ball Tour - blew me away!
    3. The White Stripes - St James Theatre - Auckland - awesome - got right to the front and fell in love (all over again) with Jack White *drool*
    4. Metallica - seen them a few times - named my son after the singer - awesome live band!

ETA: Iron Maiden Somewhere in Time Tour Mt Smart Stadium, Auckland.
