I will net about 400 calories in fresh veggies per day, now do you think they should be tracked? Because I do!!

Why don't we fry them while we're not counting them, what a dumb post!

Same goes for bananas....They are a veggie but we all refer to them as a fruit.
Banana leaves are vegetables (part of the plant itself), bananas are a fruit (i.e. a part of the plant structure containing seeds, although in common cultivated varieties of banana the seeds are very small).

OH MY so many people brainwashed to think calories actually matter.

That's the whole premise of the website. If you disagree, you're certainly entitled to do so, but it's more than a little rude to come here and mock everyone using the site as intended.

    LOVEEEE!!

What?! Calories are calories. It doesn;t matter that they have very little calories you still have to count them.

Actually, bananas are technically an herb and we all know herbs and spices are zero calories.

Seriously? Bananas are *loaded* with sugar. And the only "zero calorie" thing you have? Water. Just saying.

She's totally serious. I can tell by the wink face.

No one can ever get fat eating tons of vegetables so i don't see the need to count the calories in them.

i don't add my veggie calories and still lose weight.!

... is fruit included in this? Because wine's made of grapes, and if I can have as much as I want, right?

But seriously, we're all working hard to get to our goals, I'm glad you can do that without counting everything you eat, but it makes us people who have to count literally every tiny thing they eat feel a little bit rubbish to be told what we're doing "is not a good idea". I know for me personally, with a calorie intake of 1200 a day, I could easily eat that in just veggies over the course of a day.

If you've got something to say, go for it, but if it's advice to EVERYONE, then at least have some sort of proof. As in a research paper, not just that it's worked for you.

 Plus not to mention what that amount of Fiber would do to you.....eek....
I'm pretty sure if I started eating 1800 calories of strictly vegetables, which is 600 calories over what my daily calories are supposed to be, I'd gain weight. That is silly logic, my friend.

A cup of edamame (which is a vegan's dream and also a 'green' vegetable) is about 200 calories per cup. Now tell me calories don't count.
