Can You Guess What McDonald’s Food Item This Is?

Say hello to mechanically separated chicken. It’s what all fast-food chicken is made – things like chicken nuggets and patties. Also, the processed frozen chicken in the stores is made from ...it.

Basically, the entire chicken is smashed and pressed through a sieve — bones, eyes, guts, and all. it comes out looking like this.

There’s more: because it’s crawling with bacteria, it will be washed with ammonia, soaked in it, actually. Then, because it tastes gross, it will be re flavored artificially. Then, because it is weirdly pink, it will be dyed with artificial color.

Think about that next time you pull through the drive thru or feed your kids fast food ;)

    To each his/her own. As a matter of fact, I can't remember the last time I pulled through McDonald's for anything other than a Diet Coke. But ..........

    When it's time to enjoy McDonald's, Burger King, DQ, KFC, Wendy's or any other restaurant I admit, I enjoy it.

    So frequent flier or not, do what works for you.

    I've seen this picture a lot but I just want to know what proof is given with it. I mean, I'm not defending McDonalds and I don't really eat there but it's a photo with no writing or evidence really.

    I LOVE McD - everything on their fabulous menu.

    Eww I think I just puked a little. It's amazing how we can "know" these things are terribly unhealthy but it will take seeing/hearing certain things to remind us- DON'T GO THERE! lol

    I have seen this picture a thousand times and yet I still don't care. Why is it pink? Because meat is pink. Sausage looks like this before casing.
