    OK, don't expect to beat January's 1200 miles now that the cold spell to really bitting...

    Day 1: Daily commute, 34.56 miles, 165 mins, 1447 cals burnt (HRM)
    Day 2: Daily commute, 38.25 miles, 172 mins, 1516 cals burnt (HRM)
    Day 3: Daily commute, 22.99 miles, 102 mins, 980 cals burnt (HRM)
    No chance of big miles today - minus 5
    Day 4: General ride, 22.97 miles, 90 mins, 1137 cals burnt (HRM)

    Another shorter commute due to ice....

    Day 6: Daily commute, 18.26 miles, 80 mins, 898 cals burnt (HRM)

    Wowza it's February 6th and today was my first ride of the month. Slacking! I've been sick since last Wednesday and holy moly did it feel good to be back in the saddle today! My first Century Ride (metric, even though I'm in the US :) ) is Feb. 18th.

    February goal: 300 (staying the same as Jan since I'm getting a late start AND it's a short month. I'll up it in March!)

    Was trying to think of all the reasons I didn't want to ride tonight but then remembered the challenge.

    2/6 - 5 miles on indoor trainer (rollers) 51.7 for Feb. Not much tonight but all adds up Thanks Friends

  • Got a 20 mile road ride in on Monday.
    W00t! Been in bed sick the rest of the week, pretty much (excepting a two-mile-or-less jaunt to catch a bus to make a doctor's appointment). Probably, in retrospect, should've skipped that 20 miler on Monday and gone a little easier, but ... you know, hindsight.

    So here's my (still pathetic) stats thus far:
