It must be an older crowd type of thing. The girls locker room is the same, ALL the older ladies just stand around naked chit chatting it up. And it's the ones that do the aqua classes.

Always the old peeps at the gym...like I don't get what prevents them from wanting to cover up little bit, I get it that they are not modest and have no shame but please some of us don't like turning the corner into the locker room and seeing old balls all over the place.

Love the super American reaction to nudity! Try being an American in any gym in Europe! You're the odd one out if you have a towel around you in the locker room, sauna or steam room. Always naked except when working out!

Fair enough, it is usually Americans and other North Americans who get up tight about nudity. I suppose the British as well, and maybe Australia can be included in that. Just based upon my gym experiences in various countries!

Speaking as an older (english) woman who has no problem with the changing room nudity thing I think you all should know that once you have suffered the supreme indignity of giving birth in an NHS hospital you will never have any hangups again about who sees your naked body.

I workout early in the morning, and there's a clan of them in the locker room. It's like they have to do it. Think maybe they have a blog called "Dear thirtysomething homophobic guy in the locker room"...
