I put mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries) a little cinnamon, ground flax seeds and just a touch of stevia in mine. That's how I roll0

Flax seed was going to be my suggestion, but you know that one already.
Sometimes I put a little molasses in as well.
molasses sounds great!0 -
I have steel cut oatmeal with a little bit of splenda and blueberries.0

Protein Powder and peanut butter. (especially the PB&CO Dark Chocolate Dreams!)0
-
1 Tbs peanut butter and 1tsp of Tastefully Simple Caramel Cinnamon Sprinkles or plain Cinnamon:)0

I also avoid the instant stuff as I prefer to control the sweetening.
My standard is to add a tsp of stevia & a serving of toasted wheat germ.
Another good one is a serving of unsweetened apple sauce and a pinch of cinnamon.0 -
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp stevia
1/2 bananna
Yum yum yum!!0 -
NEVER sugar .. just blackberries or raspberries0

handful of berries and some almond milk. I eat it raw, don't cook it.0

Cinnamon and bananas!0

I put a frozen berry blend in my oatmeal and some flax (if I have some ground). I usually eat my oatmeal at work so the berries have time to thaw during my commute.0

I usually only eat oatmeal when we're camping. But these are great ideas!0

I eat oatmeal every morning also. I don't do the instant, I start out cooking my oatmeal in almond milk instead of water, then I add flaxseed, cinnamon, a scoop of vanilla protein powder and a Tbsp of natural peanut butter.
That sounds good! Do you add all that while it's still cooking or once it's done?
I add everything except the peanut butter while it's still cooking. the pb I stir in at the end0 -

All very good suggestions. I like to mix it up a little.
My favorite things to add are:
honey
slivered almonds - gives a nice crunch
Visalus shake mix (vanilla protein powder)
blueberries
occasionally as a treat I'll add a little butter
I like to have oatmeal for lunch or even dinner. Very filling!0 -
1/3 cup old-fashioned rolled oats
2/3 cup almond milk
1/2 cup canned pumpkin
splash of vanilla extract
sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice
3 minutes in the microwave in a deep bowl (to prevent oatmeal volcano)0 -
I like mixing mine raw with frozen berries and a dash of splenda. By the time I get to work, the berries are thawed and the juices make the oatmeal soft. I top it off with a continer of Silouhette yogourt.0

Steel cut oats with lentils and raisins0

all these posts sound so yummy. I need to eat more oatmeal0
