    Ben Barnes and Orlando Bloom are beautiful examples of how men can rock long hair. Most of the population however should stick with it either short or ear length

    Like most others have said, just depends on the guy. Most cases shorter is better, but not all. Like this one for example:

    As for the people saying absolutely not to guys with long hair, have you SEEN Chris Hemsworth as Thor? Yum. Thumbs up to guys with long hair. And to guys with short hair. And to guys with no hair. :bigsmile:

    Not a huge fan of overly long or overly short hair in general, but it depends on the person. Some people can certainly pull it off!

    99% of the time... good.. once in awhile....short OR long hair can look good...but prefer longer hair ;)

    Generally, I like men with long hair. It doesn't suit all men, and sometimes short hair can look hotter than long. But on the whole, if a man has a long thick mane of hair, I'm happy.

    Depends on the guy.
    My bf used to have really long hair for like the first 4-5 years of our relationship. Now it's really short.

    My ex had longer hair than me when we married. Doesn't do anything for me any more, probably because it's a bit sad in my current demographic, especially as baldness strikes.

    Bad. I mean, sure Brad Pitt is hot. But honestly I wouldn't give a guy a second glance if he could fit his hair in a ponytail.

    This is the reaction most women I've talked to or tried to date have said to me.
    Long hair fella here.

    Long hair is a niche market, so you will get some good attention from 20% of the women, get ignored by 20% of the women, and the other 60% are probably indifferent to it.
    I think it must be difficult for women that would prefer to meet someone with long hair, not many men do it (for all the reasons people have been mentioning in this thread: fear of not looking manly enough, hard to pull off, losing hair as a man, ...).
    It is one of these "hate it/love it" things, but you clearly manage to pull it off.

    Glad to see there is some love for long hair though, as I've only seen threads dedicated to bold/short hair :wink:
    (EDIT: see even on this thread dedicated to long hair, they still manage to post pics of bald people :ohwell: )

    My OH has long hair and doesn't suit it short!! We tried that and I think we both nearly cried!!
    I think some guys look better with long hair and personally I love it! :-)
    Then again I'm at the other end of the argument, I'm a girl with a half shaved head, some guys would hate that! :-)
