It's another profit making venture for companies. Many of the "health" benefits, aren't supported by actual evidence.

Taking an extreme position, for or against supplements, for or against "alternative" medicine, for or against the "legitimate" medical industry is counter productive. The truth is, there is some use in supplements and alternative medicine, and in traditional medicine all - if you do your research, if you conduct a personal trial carefully and weigh it against the effects. There are also a lot of quacks and schemes out there, that promise the moon, which end up souring people against something that may actually be useful in a more minor way, even if it doesn't cure cancer, which, frankly, it likely doesn't. Dismissing something as "snake oil" without actually researching the benefits of something is as foolish as believing that it cures cancer or will make you lose 20 lbs in a week. As it turns out, there is some use for Chlorophyll. It won't magically fix all your problems, but it can provide some benefit. For those both PRO and CON, it took me 5 seconds to find these search results on Google:

This - the majority of people in support of it only have 1 or 2 posts to their name. Says it all really...1 -
The funny thing about the placebo effect is that if you believe that something will have an affect on you, it will.
Now if only I could convince my boyfriend that eating more veggies is more potent than viagra.0 -

I LOVE THIS STUFF! I am 62 years old and still practice ashtanga yoga which can be challenging at times. I found that I have a tremendous amount of energy during the day and I sleep soundly during the night. I have an autoimmune condition known and Hashimoto"s which at times has caused me to feel very tired and even depressed. I fill my container with filtered water and addat least 2 tbls. of chlorophyllin and I drink it all day long. Frankly, at first I thought it was just because I had increased my intake of water but later I tried to just drink water plain and notice a significant difference in my energy level. I will be seeing my doctor soon and I can not wait to tell her. I am currently taking meds for a slow thyroid which is part of the condition I have. Just taking the thyroid medication does not produce a difference in my energy level. Oh.... and what I like the most is the minty taste that I never get tired of. Yes, you stool will turn green if you drink a fair amount daily but I do not have issues with constipation anymore. I think thats a better trade off.1

This thread is almost 3 years old - interesting place to make a first post.
But you are behind the times - apple cider vinegar has taken over as new miracle drink.
( and hashimotos is relatively common disease very easily corrected with thyroxine replacement - no need for miracle woo products)4 -
I am checking in. I'm 51 year old female. I want my health to improve and one way is by eating correct foods, of course stopping all junk foods. Well I did it for a week and a half and woah and be hold. My energy improved about 70%. I was eating lean meats, all types of greens and vegetables only. I have been wanted to try this chlorophyll, I bought myself a 70oz bottle in liquid form and hopefully I get a good report. I have dark spots on my face and armpits and believe it has to do with my system being pollute with toxins. I am hoping it will repair my body, I said help not cure. I will keep in touch.
Blessings to all!6 -
