    5th grade memory...
    Skateboard, face first, down a hill
    Chin into pavement.

    Limped home, showed my mom;
    Face of bloody strawberries.
    Next day? School pictures!!

    I thought these were so easy,
    But it seems lots of you are unable to count the number of syllables in what you have written, or maybe you don't know the syllabic structure of haikus. A third option, of course, is that we pronounce the words differently; in which case, I'm sorry for being a troll.

    mine is terrified of trees
    and bites small children.

    biting kids is good--
    keeps them off my porch at least.
    so I like evil.
