Again, if you don't see your name it's because I didn't get your weight today. :flowerforyou:

Well I ran a bunch of errands today, after leave work at 10am. My mom and I cleaned out my little brothers old room and I took my first car full of stuff over. *sigh* I think I'm still a bit in disbelief.

On the bright side a couple old friends were texting back and forth with me today. It felt sooo nice to have people to talk to, and it really makes me feel like I'm getting back to the old Rach that had tons of friends and was always out and about having fun.

Two more nights at the apartment....

Rach- as hard as it is to make this change just looking at your posts you already seem to be a bit happier communicating with your friends. That is a good sign. Just remember the beautiful blues are here for you.

Hey everyone! Great job this week! I hope this coming week is even better. I have a little story to share about my walking experience yesterday. I haven't walked in town very often, maybe 4 or 5 times. My boyfriend was with me most of those times. I wasn't planning to walk yesterday. I was going to push mow the yard and do some yard work. Well, I did something to the lawn mower, so I couldn't cut the grass. I knew I needed to get some exercise in, so I decided to go walk for 30-45 minutes. I walked/jogged for about 20 minutes, then made a right off the main road to head back home. Most of the streets off the main road in town lead back toward my house some way or another. Well, I found the ONE that did not. I kept walking and walking. Then, I thought, "If I don't see a side road over this next hill, I'm turning around. Well, there was a sharp curve (in the direction of home), so I continued. I finally came to the "end" of this road and it turned into 2 dirt roads. I was so lost....in my own town!! Not so sure of the dirt roads, I turned around and headed back the way I came. And then it happened....these 2 dogs came after me, barking ferociously, devilish eyes. I have to admit, I was a little scared. I kinda paused for a second. They didn't attack, but they sounded like they wanted to eat me, and they were about a foot away from me. I just kept walking slowly, and they backed off after about ten feet. I looked down at my HRM and it had jumped up 15bpm. I finally made it back to the main road and home. My walk turned into 1 1/2 hours, but on the bright side, I burned almost 700 calories. I think I'll just stick with the "boring" route that I know unless my bf is there to protect me.

Thank goodness you're okay!! I have a HUGE fear of dogs I don't know. When we were little there were strays all around our neighborhood and they'd pop outta the woods and come after us. *Shivers* I woulda been terrified! :ohwell:

I almost cried  Live and learn, I suppose. And I've read time and time again in fitness magazines what to do in that situation.......and I couldn't remember a thing!!

I need to shake myself this morning!! :noway: I'm eating crap and I need to stop. Food will NOT help me deal with emotions and will only cause me more upset later on.

I haven't been getting much sleep and I know thats hurting my weight loss, as well as my lack of water intake. Tonight I'm going to pack up the rest of my workout room and most of my clothes to move, and get set up so I can get back on track this weekend. I also need to dig out my old Sony mp3 player thats buried somewhere so I can download some C25k podcasts. :flowerforyou:

Hope everyone is having a nice Thursday. We have a long weekend coming!! :drinker:

Well I finished week 4 day 1 of C25K - it was tough - I did it outside - hills make it much more of a challenge but I DID it! Then walked about 2 more miles - so I ended with over 5 miles under my belt yesterday. YAY

I really like this C25k program - I never thought I could do it and look at me go....
