I don't mind tattoos. I have seen some beautiful ones. I was tempted when younger, but didin't (girls with tattoos were whispered about).. and now wouldn't get any. Seen too many people with regrets. My ex husband has some he got during the Korean Conflict back in the early 50s (when I was a 5yo) when he was in the Navy. He was ashamed of them when he got to be about 30yo. He had 2 wrap-arounds on his forearms and duh... SWEET and SOUR above his nipples. Needless to say, he never went shirtless. (   ... remembering the first time I saw him without his shirt.)0

It's spelt *tattoos
This is a very odd subject to be bringing about on a weight loss website, isn't it? Particularly in a negative sense?
My name is pretty self explanatory - I am the tattooed tea lady. Why? Because I love tea, and I have plenty of tattoos!
"Our bodies are a canvas, use them wisely with no regrets".
It is up to each individual what they do with their body. No one else's. And I wouldn't change my tattoos for love nor God. If anything, I feel sorry for those who judge people who do have tattoos, or body modifications. Because it's a very pety thing to judge someone on.
"in my opinion"...
It is spelled "spelled" not spelt! bahahaha:laugh:
Ha!!
I love tattoos. i have a large upper back piece. I'm having my full back done and it's being drawn up right now. I have 4 others as well. I could care less what they're going to look like when I'm older. We are all going to be wrinkled anyway...having a tattoo will not change that.
"spelt" must be a vegan0 -
Except I'll have a mohawk. :glasses:0 -
I'm heavily tattooed, and feel more at home in my body than I did without tattoos. I look forward to being an old, saggy lady holding my grandkids on my lap, laughing as they point at all the pictures on my skin and laughing, too.
It's gonna be so rad!0 -
go gettum rach!!
And people, who cares if something is a trend?? Be it tattoos, shoes, hairstyles.....
Originality, is being yourself. Nothing on it's own is 'original' anymore. :drinker:0 -
hate them
total turn off on a woman0 -
I for one will be getting my first tattoo on Friday, I am almost 42 yrs old but mine will be a tribute to my stillborn son {cross with a baby} And as for my husband I just asked him if he was against me getting one and he said no "I like tattoos" :0)0

I don't have tatoos, I have scars. Scars are just like tatoos but with a better story!0

I had the shirt with this saying, and the scars, before the tattooes. The tats were definitely less painful than the cause of the scars!0 -
Tattoo
> three "tees", two "ohs"
(Today's spelling lesson brought to you by the letter "T" and the number "9" )
And here's another valuable lesson from the spelling/grammar/punctuation police (namely, me):
Apostrophes DO NOT belong at the end of every word that ends with an "s." If it's not a contraction (two words being smooshed together...like "it + is = it's") OR a possessive (like "Bob's shoes") then an apostrophe shouldn't be used!!!
*sigh*:grumble:0 -
yes for me! i have 3.0

I love tattoos!
I have 5 myself and have two more in the works as well as designing my back piece.
My husband only had 2 tattoos until recently when he started his sleeve. I love it! I have to say it is really a turn on!
So we are a tattoo family. I love looking at other peoples tattoos and hearing their story about when they got it and why!
I am sure that once my daughter is old enough she will also have tattoos! (But she is only 3 and a half right now hah!)0 -
I think they can look great if done right. I personally haven't liked a design enough to ink myself, but many of my friends have neat designs. I love the creativity and have a lot of respect for the art of it.0

I love tattoos with meanings to them..I have 3 & they all mean something to me I plan to get more! I've come across people who view me in a negative way because of them or call it trashy...I really don't care it's what I like & I see it as beautiful art on my body (:0

I got my first tatoo at 53. A birthday present from my kids, on my ankle a vine with 2 flowers one pink one blue for my kids. I am now wanting to ad a flower off my son's flower for my grandson, and grandaughter to be. We will see. It hurt like hell, but could have been the way my leg had to be for the ankle.:drinker:0

Got my first one a few months ago after a major breakup. A simple line art figure on my shoulder representing finding your other half out there. I love it.0
-
I have a few and I have plenty more to go.0

I have 12 single tattoos and a half sleeve. I also plan on getting my other half sleeve done and MAYBE something on my chest.
I love my tattoos and am very addicted to them.
I am also very attracted to tattoos and find them to be a HUGE turn on. )0 -

I got #20 in February. I would say for me it is a big YES...strangely enough my fiance has zero, and doesn't ever want any at this point but likes them on me. To each his own0
-
I don't mind them, but too many can be a little bit of a turn off.
I agree. I have one on my ankle. I usually forget it's there, but I'm glad I have it. It was one of the first things my husband and I did together when we were dating. :happy:0 -
I think it's a personal choice. For me, YES 100 times. I have 5 and I'm sure I'll get at least 5 more. I love them. I do think people should use discretion in what to tattoo and where.
BTW my brother is a tattoo artist... so that makes it pretty easy as well.0 -
