    in the 'inked' category.
  • I think of the body as a canvas, and that in particular, self-designed tattoos are really neat.

BIG TIME YES FOR ME.. AND MY BODY IS A CANVAS, WONT DATE A GUY IF HE DOESNT HAVE AT LEAST 2! THEY'RE ART, SEXY, AND PERSONAL.

    I HAVE 8
  • Tattoos are super sick. And ****in sexy.

I get turned on by heavily tatted girls

for me yes, its a personal choice and something you have to live with for the rest of your life. All my tattoos (10) mean something to me and I dont regret any of them. All but 1 (back of neck) can be covered up with a basic t shirt, for the one on my nexk just wear my hair down.

One of my rewards when I hit the 40 pound weight loss will be wings tattoo cross the middle of my back.

I have one, and someday soon... I will have it removed.
  • I LOVE tattoos... and I have 10.

I work in a professional office and sometimes they peek out but no one cares or says anything. If they do say something to me its because they noticed it and want to see it and usually say wow thats beautiful work.

I've got just one, had it about 12 years now. I've been toying on getting at least two more. One representing my children, and one representing my art (karate). While I still adore my first one, it has no particular meaning behind it except I loved the design.

I love tattoos. (depending on what they look like of course)

I don't have any on myself and I don't plan on getting any. But I like the way they look on other people lol. I also think it's sexy when men have tattoo sleeves. Turn on. Not sure why.

Ugh. There's only 1 thing I hate more than "tatoos".

People who judge other people on the basis of their personal appearance.

Definitely a yes for me.. I currently have 12 and planning at least 4 more right now. When I lose my belly I plan on getting mermaid on my side to follow my new curves.

I love them. I would have a lot more than I already do if it weren't for the fact that my husband hates them. He doesn't mind the ones I have already, but has asked that I not get anymore. Which I am ok with cause I love him more than ink.

FOR ME, IT IS A firm no,,, I HAVE NO IDEA WHY,, it is just a no!

Then don't get one. Just like for me, overstuffed furniture is a firm no, so I will never own any. All caps typing is another firm no for me. And while I'm at it, 80s mall hair is another firm no for me.

But I don't make posts calling out things I think are hiddy. :flowerforyou:

Most definitely. I have 10. 2 more in the design phase. Some are large; some small-ish. All can be hidden if the work situation requires it (i.e. I wear a pant suit). All have a story or special meaning behind them.

My husband currently has 3 and another in design phase. Course, his number is low because I consider his sleeve to be a single tattoo.

I adore tattoos. I find the stories behind them fascinating. I love talking to people about their choices in ink, their artists, etc.

<---I have just the one, and it's the only one I'll ever have. For me, a tattoo has to mean a hell of a lot, because it's going to be on my body forever, so this is my favorite line of poetry, from "The Lovesong of J. Alfred Prufrock" by T.S. Eliot: "Do I dare / Disturb the universe?" I'm an English major, writer, and literature nut, plus I love the implication of these lines.

I can't really count the number I have. I don't know how that works. I have my chest done, a piece on my thigh, foot and a 3/4 sleeve which has been worked on in sessions...so...yeah?

Why does it matter? Do you. Let others do them. Some people have them out on display, some people like to hide them. Who freaking cares! I think I'm more concerned with a person's character than what ink they have or don't have on their bodies.
