    But "maths" should be "math."

    Thanks for asking!

If you're in the UK it's maths. Math(ematic)s.
You wouldn't say Matematic. Or would you? I dunno, but anyway, yeah Maths is correct in most places.

I've read enough Harry Potter to know y'all call it "maths" over there. I was just joshing.

I don't know about anyone else, but I don't shorten "economics" to "econs" so I'm not buying the "mathematics must be shortened to maths" line. Math is shorter than maths, so it's a more efficient shortenization. (That's American for "shortenisation," for those of you reading me from the United Kingdom.)

Why cant you use brackets for 2nd trations ( multiplication and division) and leave them for 1st trations ( addition and subtration)? that is how it's normally done.

    the answer s 7 !!!!

    and, "maths" ??!!!

    goodness. :noway:

Maths is the abbreviated form of mathematics. It is not used in North America, but that doesn't make it incorrect.

Exactly what I was going to say^
