    17.8 miles today 4.3 miles run/walk, 13 miles biking, and .5 elliptical (that was my cooldown lol)

    I'm pretty new to this site and seen this challenge is it to late to join? I lost 40 lbs before joining this and would like to get to my goal, I want to start running but im kinda stuck:embarassed: I cannot figure out how to get started without hurting myself! I have really bad hips that hold me back a but load!!! but still i want to run!!!!! I have a fear of other people so i cant get far from my home without panicking that someone will do something to me! I know its stupid but im honestly scared of people i dont know?!! anyways can i get some tips on my best way to start! im willing and able just dont have the right information to start!

    welcome to the challenge...set a goal for the month and start moving...post to the thread as often as you can in order to keep dino up to date on your mile moved....i highly recommend the c25k program...google it....it's a 9wk walk/run program that gets you from the couch to running a 5k....

    Slow start with the little ones home for Spring Break and Physical Therapy on my knee! But I’m ready to smash this goal!



    4/1= 0 - PT on knee hurt a little more than planned.
    4/2= 6 miles on cruiser bike with kids
    4/3= 3 miles walk/jog

    Hi all, im a newby. And i work in kms cos im from New Zealand haha. I am not to sure what a good starting amount is. So I will say 100km - of bike and run mix =).

    Shall be fun =P

    I don't usually keep track of how far I go in a month.... so for a newbie goal I will set one of 40 miles and see where I go from there! Perhaps next month I will up it.
