    After 2 days on the road, I managed to walk 5 miles this morning. :happy:

    The local economy is in recession for the 5th consecutive year, however with my skillful efforts :ohwell:, some circumstances that worked to my favor and a little divine intervention (invented by us greeks), the future of my business doesn't look as bleak as it did a few months ago. Still I have a long way to go but I'm definitely on the right track :bigsmile:

    And I'm trying to come up with a witty comeback to your line about divine intervention being invented by you greeks, but nothing's coming to be right now.:ohwell:

    If you watch any ancient greek tragedy, when things reach a dead end there's always ex machina deus that comes to save the day. That's why I said that we invented divine intervention.

  • Total newb - but joining in! I'm at the beginning of a 5k training plan, so I'd like to achieve 20 miles (32km) of either walking, running or run/walking.

    Managed 1.6 miles (2.7km) earlier today, so that's *just* 18.4 to go!

    Count me in. I want to shoot for 90 miles. As of today I have 9 miles in for the month of April. This will motivate me to keep moving. However, I did something to my knee this evening while working out and I hope it's back to normal by tomorrow.:smile:

    4/8 5 miles total 24 miles in for April....

    my knee is not any better, but I will just push thru...:frown:
