Back in 1986 we went to monsters of rock in KC. Kingdom Come, Dokken, Metallica, the Scorpions & Van Halen. We went for the Scorpions & VH (seen them 6 times in concert), but this was my first taste of Metallica. When they opened with Seek & Destroy & all these long haired people started head banging, I was hooked!

That tour was 88...I saw as well in JFK Stadium in Philly. Kingdom Come was booed off the stage.

Of Montreal puts on an amazing live show. Aside from that, GWAR is actually really awesome (and entertaining) live.

Psychedelic Furs, '90 maybe It was at the University I was attending, during a blizzard, only about 50 people showed up. It felt more like hanging out with friends who were jamming. Awesome.

sorry, going to copy my reply from the previous thread, but I'd like to add the 999 show at the West Catty Playground and Bauhaus with Daniel Ash.

The 2nd Lollapalooza - Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ministry, Ice Cube, Soundgarden, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Pearl Jam, Lush, Jim Rose Circus, Porno for Pyros, Basehead, Cypress Hill, House of Pain, Seaweed, Boo-Yaa T.R.I.B.E., Stone Temple Pilots, The Vulgar Boatmen, Rage Against the Machine + many more............

1992 in Orlando, FL... during an evacuation of the state for Hurricane Andrew, Eddie Vedder climbing to the top of the scaffolding......and the best part? It was the first time I saw Lush.

    * wait! My Bloody Valentine was good too. But maybe I like the CD better? hmmm.....this is hard.
** wait again... I think I liked Tom Verlaine better.

already answered this but it's up again.....

Radiohead 2001 in the Woodlands. Absolute total perfection. I describe it as a religious experience.

Brad Paisley and Miranda Lambert a couple years ago in OKC.
Charlie Daniels here in La would be a close 2nd.
Saw a show back in the late 80's over in Texas at that place George Jones used to have. It would be top 3, if I could remember it all, but I drank a lot back then, and a lot of things are fuzzy. Haha.

I'm pretty lame, I have only been to 2 actual concerts... Nickelback in like 2002 and Flo-Rida/Pitbull in 2012...
I have seen numerous people at the Calgary Stampede on the Coca Cola Stage, but they aren't true concerts..

I haven't seen many but I had the pleasure of seeing Keith Urban last September. What an unbelievable performer. He went a solid three hours and made sure to make his way around the entire arena. Highly recommend seeing him!
