    You've all made my list of friends for my next round of cereal whacking....

    well, not to be rude, but its SERIAL.. not cereal.


    Cereal refers to a grain or a breakfast food prepared from a grain.
    Serial refers to a work that appears in parts at regular intervals or something occurring in a series.

    No its cereal when its meant as a jest or hyperbole...

    I also do understand the females to an extent. There are some weirdo creepo out there, but on the male defense, you should still give someone a fair chance, if they turn out to be a creepo you can delete them.
    Sometimes it's quite obvious.

    I don't think it's rude, and I guess I would have a hard time believing that someone would actually be offended. Some people have so many friends, I don't know how they keep up!

    Well, heck I feel pretty much like a floosy. I had posted on my profile to please send a message with your request, but I dont automatically decline them for not having one. Sometimes I try and find out why they sent me one, but other than that I just accept and congratulate them on their accomplishments. I always send a request with a message though. I think that is the best part of getting requests, is seeing why.

    I may go through a clean-up of my friends list, but I generally am pretty ok with who ever is on my friends list. Those without activity for several weeks or months I will send a message to, but otherwise It doesnt really bother me who is on and who isnt. I do have my favorites on my friends list though haha.

    I've received many with no notes and when I checked the person out they had no replies to threads or mutual friends. I don't really want to be a part of someone’s collection. <shivers>
    Now, if they add a note I’m more likely to accept, but not always. Sometimes I just get the creeper vibe and the moment you reply back to them the convo starts… and I really don’t’ want to start that with a creeper.
    So, be honest, did you say something creepy in your friend request? ;)

    Agreed. I prefer someone to give me a note telling me why they'd like to get to know me more or why they picked me out of all the others they could have to send a request too. It's nice to have things in common!

    On another note,, if someone is inspired by something I say in a post and wants to be a support to me and feels like I can support them I'm happy to be their friend! I think it's wonderful to know so many people are going through some of the same things I am and it actually keeps me going if I'm able to help other too!

    if someone were to ignore my request then I likely wouldn't have gotten a lot out of that connection anyway. Likewise they already have what they need in their group of friends and are extended as far as they can. I wouldn't take it personally. There's plenty of Pals in the sea of 1's and 0's.

    I generally accept, but prefer a note with a request. I dont accept if the person is creepy which is rare that I get creepy requests. And if that person does not interact with me (especially since they sent me the request), I will pretty much delete that person. Also...... I state in my profile that I am really nice so I am pretty sure that scares most people away lol :)
