    I am in. Going to check in daily. So we are on day 4? 3/50. Zumba yoga walking. For 1 st 3 days. Excited!

    hey guys, i'm mari and i'm in:) 50 days = the last day of school:) it's perfect!
    my goal for 50 days starting today:
    -eat 1200 cals
    -exercise for at LEAST 30 minutes
    -drink 64 fl oz of water (only water, nothing else)

    I think I am going to try 50 days with a serving of oatmeal each day to help lower my cholesterol and clean out my system.

    oatmeal and blueberries

  • I'm in too, if it's not too late. something every day for 50 days sounds great.

    So today I have done 20 minutes of Pilates & Yoga.

    I eat oatmeal most days - also for cholesterol. I refuse to take statins as I had a bad side effect. I did get my cholesterol under control though with a combination of vitamins, diet, and exercise. Don't forget oatmeal cookies and other oatmeal baked goodies :smile:

    Day 4 and I went for a run and I think I have tracked all the food I will eat today. Still have to wait for it to get to the end of the day to find out.

    Most people wanted to check in weekly on Mondays....Daily is fine if you'd prefer that :) I log my exercise everyday and will post weekly check ins on here :)

    I'm game. I'm getting p90x this weekend, I'll be adding that to my 3x a week Zumba class. We should add each other as friends to help keep each other motivated

    I would like to join this. I do exercise pretty much every day already usually for around 40 minutes, so for my 50 days I am going to increase this to an hour. I am also terrible at getting my water, so I am going to try hard for the next 50 days to get my 8 glasses each day.

    Saturday I worked in the yard for an hour, and did 100 squats.

    That's a great idea. I'm going to try 50 days of running OUTSIDE. The weather is getting beautiful out here in Las Vegas and I've been running on a treadmill. Time to go outside.

    Clover. That is in Pa on the Appalachian Trail. Love to hike!!!

    Sunday 7/50. Walked for 60 minutes on rail to trail ..Saw a fox!!!

    Everyone is doing so well with their 50 days of something - good job!

    I have increased my daily activity and I am probably now averaging 90 minutes a day. I have actually had a 2lb weight loss this week, which is the first loss I've had in quite a while, so thank you for this challenge it must have helped. My additional personal challenge of drinking 8 glasses of water a day is sadly failing, it just tastes so much better when mixed with coffee! I will keep trying though.

    Tuesday Power pump class
    Wednesday 64 min on the stationary bike
    Thursday Weights and 39 min run outside
    Friday Weights, 30 min on bike, 15 min on elliptical
    Saturday Power pump class
    Sunday 34 min run outside

    Checking in for the first week of the challenge. I exercised everyday!
    Monday 5 miles walking
    Tuesday 3 miles walking
    Wednesday 4 miles walking
    Thursday 1 mile walking
    Friday 3 miles walking
    Saturday 2 miles walking
    Sunday 3 miles

    Today 5 miles walking!! Thank you for this challenge and I hope that this will get me through the plateau that I have been facing lately. Keep on pushing everyone-looking good!!!!

    I found this challenge a little late, so I ended up starting on Thursday. Here is my progress thus far:

    Thurs:Zumba & 30 Day Shred Level 1
    Fri:30 Day Shred Level 1
    Sat:30 Day Shred Level 1
    Sun: Jillian Michaels yoga meltdown & 30 Day Shred Level 1
    Mon: Walking, 3.5 mph, brisk pace & 30 Day Shred Level 1


    The first day I did the "30 day shred" I thought I was going to die but tonight I did it and I was able to get through the first set of push ups without taking a break. It is slowly getting a tiny bit easier maybe I will have to move to the next level soon.

    Tuesday 4/50. Today I ran for 40 minutes, did 100 squats, and 70 crunches.

    Hey, Icandoit, I like to hike too. The Rocky Mountains are still covered with snow though. Actually we can still go skiing! Are you a day hiker or backpacker?

    I love to hike and love both day hikes ans backpacking. I have done few week long hikes. Hiking the AT for the rest of my life
