    Better loss this week! Treadmill is paying off... Another half inch off of both thighs and my waist and a whole inch off my hips!

    I walked today. Not just a "small" walk...but a HUGE walk that left me feeling utterly exhausted but yet refreshed! I absolutely LOVE to walk. When I put my IPod into my ears, I'm in another world. I have my IPod loaded with all of my favorite Christian songs...and they inspire me. When I walk...everything disappears and I'm transferred to another place. I'm at peace when I walk. I meditate and pray while I walk. I thank God for the ability TO walk. So...with that said....

    I walked 4.75 hours today...started at 10am. I did stop about 4 times for a short break ((my shins were starting to hurt)) and to catch my breath...but other than that I was a walking nut! :laugh: I walked a total of 11.54 miles, and burned 1,078 calories today from that walk. I also work my 12 hour shift tonight...and I'm going in with no nap. :ohwell: But I can't help that...I had to cook dinner for the kids and now I have to run my daughter to my mothers. That happens like that sometimes...I will sleep real good for sure when I get off from work.

    So I had a 2 lb gain a few days ago.... I was ticked. However...I got on the scale today before the walk and I was down those 2 lbs PLUS another lb. I'm not weighing in until Monday...but it looks like a good loss is in my future. I'm glad...maybe I just need to do what I have been doing in the past and stop worrying about what everyone else is doing (eating/exercising). I mean what works for you and works for me obviously will be different. I am still however doing the Olivia Method....I haven't given it my all...and I'd like another week to see if I really like it or not. So....have a good Saturday night guys. :drinker:

    Holy moley that is quite the walk. I applaud you for being able to just keep going and going. I think I would eventually get bored and head home, unless I had something really pretty to look at it.

    LOL! I had my Ipod on and it is LOADED with all of my Christian music that I love so much. I do a LOT of meditation/praying when I walk, and it really helps me clear my mind. Actually...to be honest I had NO idea I was walking so much, I was just preoccupied with meditating and "talking to God" that I kinda lost track of time at one point. The kids wanted to play on the playground and the park has a trail that is 1 mile around each time...so...the kids kept telling me they wanted to play each time I came around to that point in the park so I just kept going. lol.

    Walking is so very peaceful for me. And the park I go to is very pretty! It has like an "enchanted" forest part that you go through and it is sooooo pretty! It has benches you can sit at and relax too. It's all covered in camera's also..so I feel safe. :)
