84 Nissan pickup. No a/c, no power steering, stick shift. By the time I got rid of it it had more rust in the floor than paint. I loved that truck and miss it. I put it through a lot.

A very ugly, blue, 4 door Ford. I don't even remember the name of it but it was so unreliable that I usually left it in the apartment parking lot and walked to work. lol

    86 Honda Accord.

My best friend in high school, though, had always wanted a Gremlin - she found it! Had 13 original miles on it. The guy she bought it from won it on the price is right in the 70's, but was disabled so he couldn't drive. It sat in his garage all that time. lol

My first car was my parent's old car. A 1987 Mercury Sable.
Drove it for about a year (maybe a little longer) before I busted the radiator due to being neglected.

What a car!! I put 45k miles on it in the first year of just driving around with all my friends.
We packed 10 people in it (including 2 in the trunk) to go out to CiCi's for dinner one night.
I was happy it was gone when it was because it smelled terribly of mildew. My friends and I would go "fountain hopping." We'd find a random decorative fountain, jump out of the car, splash around and jump back in and drive off. Not a good/sanitary thing to do in hind sight. LOL.

1985 Dodge Charger, burgundy. I hated it!! the front end was so long I had to sit on a phone book to see the end of it. I wrecked it my 5th or 6th time taking it out with my mom for driving practice. My first at-fault accident and I only had my learner's permit. After the wreck I hated it even more because the bumper and driver side fender my dad found to fix it with were mustard yellow. Drove it from fall of 1993 until spring 1997, then my almost sister-in-law got it. In fall of 1998 she was dating an auto mechanic who for whatever reason decided to flush the radiator. I guess no one told him on a car that old you don't flush the radiator because its the dirt and rust that's holding it together. The whole thing started falling apart after that.

In January 1997 I bought a 1996 Toyota Tercel with 7052 miles. I'm still driving her. She's at 199680 miles right now.

96 Ford Ranger! As a teenage girl this sucked, I just wanted the new little sports car like every other girl, but truth is my parents new what they were doing not buying me a new car, for the other parents of the the girls in my high school, I would hate to pay the insurance they all did after every single one of them totaled there cars!

1994 Nissan Pickup. Manual. Got a REALLY good price. But it was a manual. . . .I was dumb and traded it for a transmission for a.. . Ford Escort. Stupid car.

I have a Subie OB now and I love it.

My 1st car was a 1978 Mercury Zephyr! Baby blue...of course. Paid $1 for it, got a whole 12mpg and on cold mornings I had to warm up the carburetor to get it to start. Just found this ad when I Googled it!

Blue 1999 Eddie Bauer Ford Explorer with a sun roof, got it a few months before I turned 17 as an early birthday present. I thought I was AWESOME. I would pick up my girlfriends and cruise around with the windows down and the sun roof open with the NSYNC "Celebrity" album at full blast. Man, to be in high school again...

1984 Chrysler LeBaron, squealed like a beotch too. Not the coolest car to be driving as a senior in HS (in 1997) but it got me where I needed to go.

My first car was a 1972 Skylark convertible.
Well, "Convertible" is a bit of a misnomer.
It USED to be a convertible but, the top had rotted away long before I got it so now it was just "topless"
400.00 and a few weekends to get it running and it was all mine.

    ha!!!
i loved mine... cannot beleive that i was so stupid at one point i traded it in on a gran torino station wagon of all things *LOL*
hey, i was young, stupid, and had a toddler... felt i was supposed to be driving a more 'sensible' car i guess... i still miss that convertible though!

1989 Chevy Corsica. Maroon and Grey. I actually really liked that car. Had to get rid of it when it started burning oil really badly. Tons of memories in that car!!
