My first car was a 1960 Rambler. It looked like this one only mine was red. I brought it when I was 16 with my own money earned by working at a day care center after school and on weekends. The car costs $150 and I made payments on it. My mom had to co-sign for me.

a 1975 brown Nova. that thing ran for years in spite of my ignorant abuse. the interior totally rotted out, but that huge engine still ran like a top when I traded it in in many years later. Looking back, it was a great car!

A 1969 Ford Falcon. Light blue on one side, navy blue on the other for conflicting eyewitness reports!

Seriously though - light blue body, black vinyl hard top. I got it for high school graduation in 1982, and it was third hand used - it was my sister's old car, and my Mom bought it from her for a dollar when my sis got her first new car (a Mustang). I, of course, being an 18 year old knucklehead with my first car, promptly got into an accident with it two weeks later! So, that's where the navy blue part comes in - we found an old fender for it to replace the one I crumpled, but never had it repainted to match the rest of the car.

A 95 red geo metro. My parents splurged and bought one with the cup holder option.

My third car was a red 01 chevy metro... my fourth (current) car is a red 01 chevy metro.

I have no idea what I'm going to do when I need a new car. Can't find those babies anymore!

1999 Nissan Pathfinder. Only reason I got such a nice car is because my dad started a job where he got a company car so my mom didn't need the Pathfinder anymore.

That car is WONDERFUL. Nice size for an SUV but not too huge. Not great on gas mileage, but I felt really safe in it and it never broke down on me. Ever. Can't wait to go back to the US this summer and drive it again :D

I drove a 1989 Chevy Silverado 1500. That truck was a tank and I loved it! It had 437,000 miles when I got rid of it . Didn't need a key to start it when I took it to college. My firends used to come get it while I was in class. Still on the road as far as I know.

SOme of us are really showing our age here. Makes me feel better!

My first car was a 1982 Ford Escort. My dad bought it for me when i got my license in 1988. It was a stickshift - which i told my dad i DID NOT want, but he got it anyway in hopes i wouldn't want to drive it. Ha! I showed him!!
It was pretty decent back in the day!! Even drove it when i was in college. It's demise was a dump truck that turned in front of it when my brother was driving it.

My first car was a beautiful '65 Mustang. I had dreamed since I was 8 years old of owning one.....I still have it!

A few years ago I did a total ground up rotisserie resto on it...every nut and bolt brand new, beefed up the engine and some other areas.

    Love this car!
