My first car was a beautiful '65 Mustang. I had dreamed since I was 8 years old of owning one.....I still have it!

A few years ago I did a total ground up rotisserie resto on it...every nut and bolt brand new, beefed up the engine and some other areas.

    Love this car!
    Picture in my profile...

    Sweet ride!!! :)

Thank you, it's a sleeper for sure.

Mine was a beat up 1980-something Ford Tempo purchased for $1400, that quit a block from the dealership. I believe my father put in another $1400 worth of repairs before he decided to make better use of it - he took it to the junkyard.

1984 Buick Century. My brother bought it used for $500 and then passed it down to me when he got a newer car. I had to junk it when the hood wouldn't even open anymore!

1984 Pontiac Fiero (aka "The Go Kart...with attitude"). It was 15 years old when I got it, but it looked and drove more like a car that was 25 years old. The best thing about it was the stereo system (new stereo, old car).

My first car was my 1999 Chevy Malibu. I bought it on my 18th birthday and finally this same time last year I had to let her go. I had 220,000 plus miles on it and NEVER had any issues with it till last may. It was the saddest day in my life. I LOVED that car. Her name was Malibu Stacy (Simpsons reference)

Lancia Delta, cost more to insure than to buy and was in the garage more than it was on the road! Happy days.

The year was 1994 and she was a 1980 Oldsmobile Delta 88 and we named her Big Bertha.

Best $1000 my brother and I ever spent. I think she had 250k miles on it when I crashed her.

The only problem she ever gave me is high expectations on all vehicles.

I got my first car for $1,000...it was a 1991 Ford Tempo & it was a pile of feces on 4 wheels that only last me 1 year.

Now the car I got after that was the best car I've ever had...it was a 1989 Olds Cutlass Calais. I loved that ride...my ex-husband & I drove it out to NV from PA. We were 30 miles from Reno on that trip, when he totaled it.
