my goal weight is 145-1500

I think age is a factor here. I noticed that many of the younger women have goals around 120 lbs. or less. I am 58, and 5'6" my goal is 138. I am very close to that now, and I have no interest in losing another 10 lbs., nor do I think I would look good at that weight. I want a weight that is realistic, healthy and sustainable.0

They (ie friends) think that I already look good and that i would look funny at 145.

Most of my friend/coworkers are overweight. They don't want to try to lose weight .
Go on fake diets. ( one stopped eating McDonald's for a week)
I think the husband would like me to stop talking about it. But i cant. It is my hobby/ life/ routine now.0 -
I'm 5'5, just turned 26 with the goal weight of at or under 120. I'm currently at 137 with 21.5% body fat. I'm a small frame so I know that 118-125 is where my body should be without looking unheatlhy or just bones. Everyone is just a little different! Good luck to all my fellow 5'5 folks on hitting their goals!
I don't want to be nagging or nitpicky, but if you're 21.5%BF at 137, 120 or below might not be possible. You have 107 pounds of lean mass, and unless you lose quite a few pounds of muscle, your goal weight would put you at about 11% BF.0 -
I am 5'5 and will be 40 this year. I have 3 teenagers and my SW was 197. My goal is 130-140. My doc says 140 but I hope to go a little lower.0

135 I think. I want to be a size 6. So I think it will depend how things fit at what weight. When I feel healthy and fit and am fitting into styles that I want to wear, that will be my resting place whether it be 130, 140, or anything else.0

I am 5'5 at a healthy 135 after losing the 25 lbs I gained post college. I don't have a goal weight per say but would really really like to shrink my waist from its current of ~32 on a good day to about 26-29 if its at all possible, cheers and good luck everyone in reaching your goals.

I'm 5'5 and a smidge and currently 149 down from a peak of 158. I have a pretty small frame and still wearing 12/14 (UK) . My goal is 9st (126). Pretty much all of my weight is on my stomach and I'm fed up of looking pregnant when I'm in my undies!0

I am 5'4 and 38yrs old with 5 kids. I was 120lb [55kgs] pre children.
My heaviest was 171lb [77.8kgs] a month ago and now I am 156lb [71kgs]. I would love to get down to 132lb [60kgs] with my ultimate goal being 127lb [58kgs].0 -
I'm 5'4 and my goal is 125-130lbs...I"m hovering around 140 right now, and I'm still too squishy around the middle! lol0

I', 5'5" and I'm currently 147, goal weight is 135 for now. I was 118 for the longest time and in a lot of sports/leagues/clubs until I left for boot camp. I've gained some bigger lady lumps and a lot more muscle since enlisting in the military and determined that due to those factors (that I'd like to keep athankyou), somewhere between 135 and 125 would be ideal and is considered a healthy weight for a person of my age and height. And I haven't had any kids.. yet0

Ladies everybody has weight goals in their heads but if you have never been that size you won't really know if it is the right size for you until you reach it. So good luck with whatever size or weight you want to be and remember you know you have gone too far when your head is too big for your body. I'm just saying!!!0

I'm 5'4" and my goal is 160! Ultimately 145 but the lightest I've ever been (and I was low body fat, lots of muscle) was 160 so that's my goal.
Im 207 right now and my goal is 160 aswell...im also 5'4
I'm 5'4 and my goal weight is 1650 -
5'5", sw 211, cw 168, gw 150. If I'm happy at 150, I'll stop, if not I'll reevaluate if I want to keep going.0

I'm 5'4" and I'm 56 years old. My goal is 129. About 6 years ago, I'd gotten down to about 116, and people told me I was too thin (I didn't think so) , but I'll be thrilled to be under 130 again! If I can lose another 5 lbs after that, great, but if not, it will be okay too. :happy:0

I am 5'4 3/4 and 41 yrs old. I've made my initial goal weight of 160 which was my pre-surgery weight a couple of yrs ago. I think I was at 189 when I joined my fitness pal last April. I am at 143 now but would love to lose 3 more lbs and maintain.0

I'm 5'5", and the lowest I've ever been was 135 lb. I'm trying to get back to that. Once that happens, I'll reevaluate based on size rather than weight, especially since I've been exercising more.0

I'm a little shorter than you are at 5'4". I'm 36 years old and I've been at or below my goal weight of 150lbs since Sept 2010. (Today I was 148lbs). I was going to try and go a bit lower, but decided that I'm happy at this weight. My body is happy and comfortable. I don't have to severely restrict myself in order to maintain - I can maintain AND enjoy life.0
