Home made banana muffins (using honey and applesauce instead of sugars and oils) with morning star farms (vegetarian meat substitute) bacon or sausage. 229 calories... oh and looots of water.

If I'm feeling extra hungry, I'll add some strawberries or other fruit on the side. :-)

You should try adding fresh strawberries in lieu of the choc chips and sugar - equally sweet and much more nutritious  And PB, strawberries and chocolate is a winning combination! It's like a PB + nutella + jam sammich! Mmmmmm :blushing:

I didn't read the whole thread to see if anyone else already posted this...

I make muffin pan fritattas and I think they are awesome.

in a frying pan, make a mixture of any low cal meat or veg you like..
    turkey bacon
    veggie sausage
    lean ham cubes
    asparagus
    mushrooms
    onions
    spinach
    etc

chop it all up, then use a tea spoon of oil or some cooking spray and saute it all togher so the veggies are wilted and flavors mix. season with pepper, mrs. dash or spices you like.

spray a muffin pan with non stick spray, put a spoonfull of the mix in each cup and fill 3/4 of the way with egg whites. ( I just get egg whites premade in a carton)

bake at 350 till the eggs are full cooked/slightly brown on top. 10 - 15 minutes depending on the size of the muffin cups.

each 'muffin' is 40 - 100 calories depending on what you put in them.

put them in the fridge and have 2 - 4 for breakfast every morning, cold or heated up in the microwave.

    How about beans on toast?

Or peanut butter and sliced banana on toast?

(make it wholemeal or granary toast, and avoid butter, use spread)
