You look amazing!! I'm really liking the New Rules program, I'm feeling the burn in places I didn't know existed. Imagine what you will look like after the final stage Smokin!!0

I can see a MASSIVE difference in your legs. Like, wow kind of difference.0

I too attribute most of my success to NROL4W. It's a great program, and we have a great community for it in the groups:

thank you for posting your results, very inspirational!0 -
You look great! So, I assuming this lifting program truly requires a gym to do properly. Is that true? It would be so hard for me to get to a gym. I could on weekends, but during the week would be very difficult.0

Congrats on your success! You look AMAZING!0

Sorry, a bit out of touch. Could someone tell me the long name of this book?
"The New Rules of Lifting for Women"
Congratulations on the transformation!0 -
Amazing transformation!! If this doesn't convince people to start lifting... I dunno what will!!! You look fantastic ) Actually, "fantastic" doesn't even do you justice lol.0

Dang..you are doing soo good, your belly button even changed! Mine is a deep dark circle of hell:laugh:0

you look great. I love this program. I am starting stage 2 tonight0

Incredible! Your results prove that heavy lifting will enhance a women's figure and not bulk us up to look like men. Congratulations.0

Thank you!!! I do know people who do this workout at home. You'd really need a cable machine (for the lat pulldowns, seated rows, etc), weight bench with barbells & dumbells, and a swiss ball, none of which I have at home! It can be done, though!!0 -
It's really an amazing book. I really enjoyed the program especially the prone jack knife moves on the exercise ball!0

I LOVE the prone jacknifes!!!!! They are probably my favorite exercise in Stage 1! It's like you can really feel them working as you're doing them!0 -
Truly awesome results :drinker: One more bit of proof that lifting heavy weights makes women HOT and not big and bulky!0
-
Impressive! Keep it up!0

Having seen this, I went straight to Amazon and bought the book! I already lift, but more information is always good, right? Thanks for the motivation.
Haha, me too! Except I lift boxes of frozen dough in a bakery, not weights in a gym. But now is my time to step it up!
Great job, an inspiration!!0 -
Can I ask the OP-Did you take your book down to the gym for them to look at or did you just take it with you and start the exercises yoruself?
I just ask because Im thinking of starting, Ive read the book and found a suitable gym only last night but wanted a session with the personal trainer there to show me how to use the equipment properly. Do you think it would be good to take this book in to show him and insist he does these with me or I get the feeling he will want to do his own exercises with me..?
Also have you changed your diet drastically-ie eating more protein, less carbs etc etc? My problem areas are my legs, arms and tummy, I dont need to lose weight, I just want to tone up what I have....
Thanks

I didn't take the book with me, but I came across a wonderful spreadsheet online that you can fill in yourself. I bring that with me. The book shows photos of all the exercises, so you will know how to do them before you get there. I am honestly not sure what a personal trainer would do, sometimes I feel like they have their own agenda, but I know many people who have loved having one. I've always kind of just taught myself.
As far as protein, yes I am eating a lot more of it. The book suggests that you try to get in your body weight in grams of protein. For example, if you weigh 150lb, you'd want to try to eat 150g of protein per day. He especially wants you to have a significant amount of protein within an hour of lifting. I don't obsess over carbs, but I do watch them and try to get them from "good" carbs (fruit, etc) as opposed to bread, pasta, etc. I have found replacements for things like pasta (spaghetti squash is one of my staples, as are the tofu shiritaki noodles). I have upped my calories to 1620 on non-lifting days, and 1920 on lifting days. I don't deprive myself of my red wine that I love so much, or the occasional treat. I definitely don't feel like I have to be as strict with the calorie counting since lifting heavier and seeing and feeling results - it feels rather freeing!0 -
Very impressive. Nice work:)0

You made me a believer, just ordered it. :drinker:0
