Kristi - GREAT GREAT JOB ON ALL YOU HAVE DONE GIRL - YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!!! I am fine - thanks for asking. Body recovered within 24 hours. The funny thing was a girl that took pictures showed them to me last night. I did not recognized my back side in one of the pics. It was eye shocking.
NitaG - Hi - Congrats on the addition to family. How are you doing.?
Cyndeebee - I am fine. Body recovered nicely - work is wearing me out from the heat and humidity but I am great.
Healthymom - thank - you. nice to have the parents close.
LI4G - I passed the idea of TPing kid's room on to my daughter - she laughed forever. She thought it was great. Wants you to post pics0 -
Now a little about myself for the new ones.
My names is Lisa. I am a mother to two and grandmother to five - soonto be six at Christmas time. Five of them live in Montana - 1604 miles away. The new one will be just 10 miles away from me. I work night shift on Sunday night through Wednesday night as an order selector at an Autozone Distribution Center. Love my job but right now heat and humidity is draining. It was 110 heat index here today - will be everybit of 95 degrees plus humidity still tonight at 10 pm.0 -
First off....Happy Birthday Lulu
Welcome all new members, I'm still pretty new myself but so far I love this group. Lots of posts to keep up with lol.
I haven't had a chance to read all the posts yet, so I'm going to do a real quick update here and read them later on.
I am now employed. I haven't worked since I had my daughter a year ago. I started looking for work when she was 8 weeks... I just now got a job. It's doing what I love... it's a dog rescue agency... Lot's and lots of manual labor, and walking... I can't wait.
Still at my 160 mark. Nothing more, nothing less. Going strong with my working out. I walked 1.31 miles today pushing my daughter in the stroller. Usually we do 3 but it was just too hot. I'm doing good on my calories. Not having AC in the summer makes me not want to eat sometimes so I guess that's a plus. I'm keeping my eating when I'm bored down a lot. I love food. My challenge however is when my boyfriend comes home this weekend for his home time off the road (he's a truck driver) I have to not give in to temptation and go out and get fast food with him, and if we do I need to make better selections. We'll probably have pop in the house... and I don't know if I can handle it, plus he's a smoker and he already told me doesn't want me to start back just because he's home. But I know that I can do it. Well that's it for now... I have some reading to catch up on.0 -
Hi Paw,
I'm Debbie. Congrats on the new job. I hope you really enjoy it. I see you've been looking for a job for awhile. Sometimes we have to wait for things to line up just right for the best things for us. So maybe your wait was worth it if you really love this job.
When your boyfriend comes home maybe he can help support you by going outside or for a short walk when he smokes so you won't be tempted. Hopefully he is one who will support your efforts by do that and by eating healthy while he is with you. I am pretty sure that he doesn't eat healthy when he is on the road. Maybe you can cook a couple of meals and have them in the fridge and when he says I'm hungry lets go eat. You can say I have a great dinner in the fridge let me warm it up for you. That way you both get a good meal and not too many calories.
Team members: when you are measuring food and it says you can have a cup of beans or hamburger helper, how do you meaure that? In a dry measuring cup or a liquid measuring cup? They really do have a slight difference in amounts. Also I had someone tell me before that if you rinse your ground beef in hot water after browning it, you get rid of most of the fat on the meat. I have been doing that hoping it helps on the fat and calories. If that is a crazy idea tell me so I will stop and not be crazy LOL
Happy Birthday Lulu0 -
Debbie...I'm sure that rinsing ground beef would definitely reduce the fat. I knew a woman that cooked ground beef by boiling it. I thought that was strange, but I ate one of her casseroles, and you couldn't tell the difference. (But I still fry ground beef...)
Congratulations on the new job, Paws. It sounds very exciting.
Second last day of school for my young lady. I'm more excited than she is...
House cleaning day for me. Tomorrow is shopping with my parents, so I won't get much done then.
Take care...0 -

Thanks for the ideas. I hope that I like this job too. It seems fun. I only work 4 hours in a shift but it's all outside and in the heat. So I'm glad lol. And it's perfect for when I start school back up again. No my boyfriend doesn't eat good on the road but when he comes home he usually wants real food unless we're out running around. But we don't have the money for fast food so I'm hoping that will play a role in not doing it lol.
I've always rinsed my ground beef off. I looked in the cup that I drain into one time and it occurred to me that was going into my body... so not only do I drain, but I rinse now.0 -
Morning all. Yesterday I did the eating dinner before I left work. I was starving by bed time. But you know if that is what is going to do it then I guess that is the sacrafice I'll have to make.
I got in a run, upper body workout, and commute to work today.
Yesterday was a run, lower body workout, and commute to work.0 -
So.... I've been thinking about this for a few days now.... I just started this whole calorie cutting and working out thing a few weeks ago. Now... I don't know if this has happened to any one else, but my menstrual cycle seems all out of whack now... I've heard that people who lose a huge amount of weight can stop having one because the body is in shock or something, but I've only lost three pounds... any ideas?0
-
Morning all.. I am just about to leave for work but wanted to post now since I have a few meetings today... So many new people I am kinda lost with all the posts.. I will need to find time to read and try to get to know everyone...
I myself am doing OK and only OK.... Not much mention about Texas except last night my husband told me he really didn't want to go this time around.. I don't blame him, it's hot and not to mention dangerous on those boarder towns... He isn't sure when he is leaving, guessing 2nd week of July but that remains to be seen.. I'm still praying the company he is working for here in NV gets a job and soon...
Diet and exercise - Ugg.. Don't want to talk about it.. I am maintaining thats it... I need to start fresh with a new mind set and I'm having a hard time finding it...
Ok, I'm outta here..
Bye for now...
Anita0 -
pawprint - usuallly women that stop their cycle entirely are in starvation mode. but your period becoming a bit irregular as your body adjusts is normal. remember, it's not just about the weight, but your activity level and how you're eating. or it might not be related to it at all.
lulu - happy happy bday to you! and many more!!
Going back to the chiro today, I swear they fix one thing and break another just so you have to come back. But at least I can get around, just can't work out. So that's a bonus. Sleeping is a problem, though, so I hope this adjustment works. If not, I'm finding a different chiro.
Decided to measure my cream cheese for my bagel this morning, to make sure i wasn't underestimating it, had always logged I used 2 TB, but in reality it was a little less than 1! Whoo-hoo! The calories aren't significant, but I'm just excited that I overestimated how much I was using, rather than underestimating. Progress. I'm also pleased to report that the capris I bought that were tight but wearable because they are stretchy, I put on this morning and they are actually a bit loose straight from the dryer. Either they stretched out and stayed that way, or I"ve firmed up. Hurray.
I have to toot someone's horn here, I went to losingit's yesterday, I haven't seen her in probably 2 weeks. She's been wogging outside. Her stomach is FLAT, I mean like I couldn't stop staring at it. And according to her, she's not really lost any weight, but man, the difference is incredible! So if you want to know how to tighten your stomach - she's the woman!0 -
Diet and exercise - Ugg.. Don't want to talk about it.. I am maintaining thats it... I need to start fresh with a new mind set and I'm having a hard time finding it...
Anita, there's nothing wrong with maintenance and giving your body a break. You have done SO WELL and have come so far - don't sweat it now if you are just maintaining. Letting your body rest from exercise is also not a bad thing. Focus on maintenance calories and fueling your body with good stuff. YOU CAN DO THIS.0 -
Adopt4 - That is exactly what I am going to try to do.. I just so badly want to be healthy and even more healthier at the end of summer and by October.. Thanks for the encourgement.. It means so much..0
-
Here is food for thought for those giving it a break and maintaining:
In the sports training world you work up for 3 weeks then back off a week. The body needs a rest. Makes since for our world too.
For those who are bible believing: the farmer plants for 6 years and then gives the land a rest the 7th. Personally, I have one off day a week in both activity and calorie counting. This does me service to not stress about my disease restrictions. Even the nutritionist agrees with it.
Just a thought...0 -
This is the support string for me! Your posts are very motivating to read.
I am a maintainer. I lost 75# over the last 9 years:happy: and for the last year or so I have been just maintaining. It wasn't until a month ago that I started to weigh myself weekly (prior it was several times per day).
Today I really didn't want to exercise when I woke up this morning. At mid morning, I really...really wanted chocolate ....my body evidentally wanted an apple  (my desk only had an apple in it...no chocolate in sight). Then I went for a quick walk around the parking lot and had some coffee. That helped. Since I didn't exercise when I woke up this morning I did 45 minutes of elliptical over my lunch hour. It was so extremely painful to motivate myself to go exercise today but, I DID IT. :drinker: When it was over, I felt like I had accomplished something (check mark...that task is now done for today).
Day's when we are not motivated to exercise are hard. I tell myself that I only have to do 20 minutes and then if I want to quit, I can. I know that I will feel better afterwards and, the best thing...I don't want the chocolate this afternoon!
My ultimate goal is to eat clean. To feed my body healthy stuff. If I make it through today....I will be at 2 days of eating clean. I'm also trying to up my Water intake and decrease my Diet soda habit.0 -
when I first went to log my coffee in the morning and how much coffee cream I used, I thought I used 2 tablespoon per cup. Well guess what, I measured and I use 5 tablespoons PER cup. SO I've only drank 1 cup instead of two this week. BUt it uses up 200 calories. Today I had a cup of hot tea. not as satisfying but it was ok and allowed me to have what I wanted for breakfast today. Guess it is always give and take. Can't have a starbucks cause it is 600 cal, barely any coffee cause of the 200 cal. YUCK.0

Hey Everyone! Sorry I've been MIA for a while, but it's been kind off crazy for me. Last Friday, I fell while getting out of the shower. Yep, right on my knee I just had surgery on, so I had to go to the emergency room. I didn't do any 'real' damage, other than more bruising and swelling, as if I was lacking that at all! So, it's been a little rough for me the past week. And now, I have a stomach bug or something, not really sure. Went to the doc today, and she said she "thinks" it's a bug, but not sure...wow, that really helps! Been running a fever, so we'll see.
Anyway, congrats to all who's been doing so well!0 -

Whoa----I don't know what kind of cream you are using but I could never live without my coffee in the morning...Coffee itself has 0 calories. I use a half teaspoon of sugar (real sugar) and sugar free vanilla international delight creamer. I used to use the regular stuff then switched to fat free and now sugar free but still have not given up the little teensy bit of sugar. I also heard that coffee will raise your metabilsm. Spelling??? Starbucks has a lower fat sugar type of coffee you may want to try. I hope this will help you cause I know I would have a horrible day without my coffee.0 -
Welcome SR88201
LI4G - Congratulations on the flat stomach. My weight is all right there it seems like. If I could lose 30 pounds in stomach I would be set. What is the secret?
Adopt4 and Anita - I agree with you. Because of the heat and humidity at work, I am trying just to maintain on Monday through Wednesday and hit the exercising a lot harder on weekends if at all. I agree with giving the body a break.
Sheila - I am fine - my body - feet and legs and even sleep wise recovered within 24 hours from the walk. I was the only person who walked that showed up for work Sunday night. I am happy with myself all except what I ate during the walk. No tthat it was bad but probaly way over done the sodium intake. Working on that now but I learned from my mistake there. Not fretting or beating myself up over it.
PawPrint - Congratulations on the job!!! Glad to hear you like it - makes it all the better. Good - Luck with the smoking.
Prayerfulmom - enjoyed the thought and it makes sense
DWray44 - OHH NOOOO! Sorry to hear you fell. Hope you are getting a long better.
Well work is tough right now cause of the heat index. Definitely getting my water in. Having to do heavier orders in the heavier parts. But it has been developing my arms more so the pain is paying off. I have to laugh at people here cause they get so jealous - People can't give a compliment - they have to give an insult. A girl that was hanging with me has dropped off calling me because of my weight loss. I have not said a word to her about her weight. And when we talk about weight, I always offer to walk with her or buy her a salad for lunch. But she is always TOOOOOOOO BUSY!!!!!!!! to start exercising or eat healthy. But I am losing weight in all the wrong places and in all the wrong ways - I will gain it all back plus - she has told many. We will see. I am kinda enjoying my size 8 - 10's Just had to share. I also told my boss I had dropped 10 more pounds since my last drug test did he want me to go again?0 -
Thanks, indianagranny, for the humorous bit about the drug test. How did the boss respond?
Your "friend" sounds a lot like my sister. She's still trying to tell me that it's "normal" to be overweight after a certain age. I think she stops just short of telling me to grow up...
But when you've lost weight, and you feel better about your body image, it's amazing how serene you can be, when others are slinging arrows.
They have fat-free coffee cream? I must get me some of that...
I couldn't live without my coffee. Threeof them, first thing in the morning, but I barely put any cream in, so the three only cost me 120 calories.
It's really hot and humid here today, but that's also a good thing. I don't think I'll have any problems getting my 8 glasses of water in today...:drinker:0 -
Welcome SR:flowerforyou:
Dwray - OOOOWWWWW! Geeze woman - warn me before you tell stuff like that! You fell on your surgery knee????? OMG! I just jumped all over my living room for you! That had to hurt soooo bad! I'm glad you didn't "undo" what was done, and hope you heal (again) quickly! Dang girl! And then a bug on top - you are NOT having a great month! Maybe you should just come stay with me and I'll take care of you!:flowerforyou:
Indiana ~ LOL! People crack me up that they can't just be joyful for other people's successes! That's okay, time will prove to her that you've done it the right way, and maybe she'll come around:ohwell: I'm sure that with all the hauling, lifting, and walking you are doing in the heat at work you are getting plenty of exercise during the week! Take care of yourself -
Adopt4~ That is the tiniest, sweetest face! I can't believe how small your baby boy was!!! The pics are all so great though - The smile on the youngest is priceless! Cracked me up! What a proud mommy you must be!
Sheila - Is tomorrow the last of your tests?? You and April are getting together soon, right? I'm glad, cuz I'm sure you are ready for a break! I'm glad you liked my son's music ~ I'm a bit biased, him being my son and all, all he has to do is hum a tune and I think he's great, lol!
April - I'm with you, can't go without my coffee - but I drink it black and it's half-caf! It's the placebo effect I'm sure, but I still gotta have it!:blushing:
Crazybee - funny how quickly into this lifestyle we start analyzing our calories and realizing how many empty calories we consume!!! Mine were in sweet tea and Dr. Pepper ~ both of which I gave up on Jan. 7. I like for every calorie to count - cuz I likah my food!
Prayerful ~ not enough cals left for a bedtime snack? I hate to think of you going to bed hungry - that can't be good:frown:
Anita ~ Prayers that your dh's Nevada job comes along to keep him home, and if not, prayers that the TX job will be a huge blessing! Maintain girl ~ love yourself!
Pawprint - You can totally keep control with the bf at home - just keep reminding yourself of how great you are doing and how much we are allllll behind you! And I don't know if you are aware - I have a slipper that I will personally come over there and use on your bf if he isn't supportive and helpful!! I'll do it! I'll use the slipper!
Cyndeebee~ Uggh! Humidity stinks! Definately get your water in!
My birthday was great gang - thank for all the birthday wishes! My sweet hubby gave me two fountains and a pond! I'm soooo excited! Kids gave me great bird feeder and a crazy iron gnome! We went out to dinner and I ate waaaayyyy too much AND had dessert! So, today I did an extra 30 min on the treadmill and did my crunches and watched my cals!!
Catch up with you later gang0 -
Holy cow... 2 days and 4 pages later... Im gonna try to catch everyone here in one post like the talented Kristi & lulu do.. LOL
Kristi- Happy 4 month anniversary!!! Ive had enough drama in my life to go round and have finally gotten to the point where if I get it out and move on.. Im a much happier person. So, Im greatful to have good supportive buddies like you guys that are here to listen to me gripe and complain, knowing that I'll get over it and be fine. LOL Thanks for that!!! Oh, And Thank you for the encouraging words on the no smoking, altho I have a confession to make. This morning, morgolis was outside smoking and I went and sat with him to chat and have coffee, like we do every morning. He had to go in the house for something and asked if I would hold his cig. So I did and while he was gone, I took a drag off of it and ...OMG...Cough, gag, wheeze!!!! EWWW GROSS!! It tasted like crap!!! The aftertaste about made me hurl!! He came back out and I handed it back to him as was like "That thing tastes nasty!! how can you smoke that!?"  Definitely WONT be doing that again!!!!!! Thought you would appreciate that I am now one of those ex smokers who complains and gripes about the smell of it because it is SO GROSS!!!! I cant believe I ever walked around smelling like a freaking ashtray! YUCK!
Billielover- Welcome to our Team!!
Healthymom- Too cool that your parents are now closer to you and that you get to see them more now. My mom & brother live in Arkasas (just moved there a couple months ago) and we are about 30 minutes from Morgolis's parents. I love them dearly but have had enough of them recently... LOL..just need my space.
Cyndeebee- SUPER cool that you are doing the geneology for the family. My grandma is 101 this August and I did alot of research online last year to out together a slideshow for her 100th birthday. I found out that Im related to all kinds of cool people, some of them famous. Was pretty awesome stuff to pass onto my own kids.
Aprilrenee- Woot Woot on the Weight loss!! Keep rockin it girl!!!! Your doing great!!
Lorann- I will get pics of the room up AFTER it is done.. LOL... Adopt4 helped me decorate a little more yesterday when she was here. Tee hee!!
Nitag- Congrats on the new arrival!! Big baby!! 1 whole oz more than my youngest was when she was born. Nice name too, different but not common or wierd. :flowerforyou:
Crazybee- LOL yes, you know me soooo well, but I am POSITIVE it was her!! She made the mistake of telling me what they did when they did it to someone else, and well.....momma dont forget. As I was out there picking it all off the branches...I was thinking" hmmmm all too familiar... that little turd!" On the fat for burger thing, definitely rinse it if its greasy and for the other stuff and measuring it.. look at the package and see if it tells you the calories for dry or made as directed. They are different for different foods. Also, on the coffee.... I use sugar free cocoa mix in my regular coffee when I want a "mocha". LOL Otherwise I do regular coffee with 1% milk & a little sugar. I also like the Truvia Sweetener. No funky aftertaste like splenda or the other fake things. The fat free & sugar free flavored creamers are also the bomb and I am still the same coffee *kitten* you knew 10 years ago. Thats never gonna change, I just changed the way I order my starbucks. I went from full fat everything mocha to nonfat, nowhip, sugarfree peppermint mocha.... and Grande size which is 220 calories compared to a Venti size which is 280 made the same way.
Prayerful- Yes, lots of wogging and lots of walking in this week. Actually, on Monday, I did go get the bike down and it had 2 flat tires, so I walked it allllll the way (1/2 mile) up to the convience mart by my house to use the air hose, only to discover that the air hose was "out of order" and I had to walk it all the way back.. Oh well, at least I got some more walking in..  Adopt4 brought me over her tire pump yesterday when she came to visit and I got them both pumped up. Not sure if they held air or not, but will definitely find out tomorrow. If they are still full of air, Im gonna take it for a spin and aim for about 6 miles or more. If not, I'll go get my wog in and then hit the store for new tubes so I can fix it.
Swignal- I hate weeds!!! They are the  spawn and must DIE!!  Chop them to little tiny bits!!!
Adopt4- the tummy is flatter, but not FLAT but thanks for acknowledging the shrinkage!!
Indiana- This wogging really works your abs......if you do it on a track... run the straights, walk the rounds... thats all I gotta say. Your abs will feel it for sure!! Of course, I must be getting more muscle there cuz even the walk today at the park made my abs hurt on the way home and we werent even going fast!! It may have been pushing that 70lb stroller up the hill at the end that made them hurt tho..  I know my thighs felt it!! Adopt4's little guy was even give me a little resistence by trying to pull the stroller backwards (so he wouldnt fall down) while I was pushing forwards..
Lulu-
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR LULU!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!! I LOVE the new photo and can see the difference between now and the other ones you posted before!! Keep it up!! ps... cool pics of yer son, will check out his music tomorrow when I have more time.
Pawprint- Congrats on finding a job!! The job hunting thing stinks right now! My hubby has been out for a year, went back to school and has been hitting the job market hard looking for a solid 7 months. Its not easy to find a good paying, steady job these days but he has a 2nd interview tomorrow so I am crossing fingers and toes bigtime here! Congrats on making it almost 6 days!! You can do it!! If I can do it, You can too!! :glasses: Get some regular gum or something to chomp on while hes home if you arent using any aids. That might help if you start craving it while hes there, or you could just learn from my experience and know that it "tastes disgusting" now. I know, easier said than done..
Dwray- :flowerforyou: :flowerforyou: Get well soon!! Your poor knee must be tired of being poked and prodded. Are you getting around ok now or still having trouble?
Whew!! I think I got everyone!! If not, Im sorry but my hubby is starving and wants to get dinner before we go see The Transformers 2 movie tonight.0 -
DWray, sheesh, girl! Need to put you in a bubble! Hope you heal fast!
To the new people, I'm too tired to go back and look at your screen names, so I'll just say - WELCOME!
Like losingit said, we went to the park. Oh my gosh. She says it was only like 1.5 miles but I swear it was more. Of course I had to carry a kid almost all the way back, too. I was beat when I got home. Fortunately, so were the kids. Got my back cracked again and now I'm REALLY sore, too sore to sleep even though I am so very tired. You know how your muscles just get sore in spots after an adjustment, well, that's all it is, but enough to keep me flipping and flopping in bed trying to stay off the sore spots. And I'm feeling guilty because I drank pop today instead of water. Bad Kelli.
Tomorrow, back with the trainer, hope my hips and spine are in the right alignment so I can get back to doing that and then the next day my step class which I haven't done in a week - I want to do it! I can't believe how cranky I am on non-workout days, it's like you missed your morning coffee or something. Quite the interesting phenomenon for me. It just puts me in a better mood to go to the gym, which is one of the weirdest things I've ever said!
Since my "nearly too tight" capris were loose today, tomorrow morning I'm going to try on the "really too tight" capris and see if I can get them to close and still be able to breathe....0 -
oops double post....0
-
I used the international delight carmel cream. But I like my coffee sweeeeet so I use about 5 tablespoons to a 10oz coffee cup. That is 200 calories. I will have to look for the sugar free/fat free stuff cause I'll tell you I MISSED MY COFFEE today!
I have another question about logging food. Today I used up all my protien points but I still had 600 calories. What happens if I eat a little more food and I go over on protein but not calories? I didn't know so I stopped eating. so I had about 850 to 900 cals today. I was still kinda hungry but didn't really have anything here at home that wouldn't put me over in protein.
I can't keep up with the names and the posts to answer like everyone else does, but I am enjoing reading about all of you and I hope to one day be able to keep up totally and encourage you all. Thanks so much for your help and for acknowledging me in your posts. I really like ths group of women!!0 -
I used the international delight carmel cream.

Bee, I like my coffee sweet too. Very sweet. LOL Usually for breakfast I have plain cherrios and milk and my sweet coffee made with the ff cream. The international delight and coffee mate have some really good ones. You can also find the sugar free flavored syrup in your favorite flavor and use a splash of that and some regular milk if you cant find the other stuff in the dairy section. I love the sugar free caramel syrup.. it is soooooooo yummy and doesnt taste sugar free.
Dont worry about the protien. Its ok for you to be over on that. You can go to tools and then the food diary settings and choose things that you want to track in your food diary. I track carbs, protein, fat, and salt and try to keep my salt under 2400mg a day. At first, that was REALLY hard for me to do, but once I got it down I found that my weight didnt fluctuate from water so much. In the beginning I was about 1000-1200mg per day over on the sodium... ouch!
I knew you'd love this group and Im sooooo happy you came to join us!!0 -

Most people do not have an issue if they eat more protein. That helps you feel full as well as take longer to process the food keeping you full longer. MFP default standards are what hospitals recommend. But certainly most people can go somewhat higher without repercussions. However, I should note that last year I followed a sports nutritionist advice and ate 110g of protein a day. It was hard work as I am not huge on protein. I didn't know I had developed a kidney disease and I caused me to lose a great deal of kidney function. Now I am on a low protein diet due to that extreme. My life lessons have taught me its about balance (now I don't have a choice but I should have used balance then). Hope that helps.

Make room for me in that bubble, dWray...
I was just thinking that a bubble may soon be my new home.
Sun allergy! When I went to the beach on Sunday, I used sunblock everywhere except for my ankles. Who knew?
So now my poor ankles are driving me up the wall. Hives!
And isn't that a lovely state to be in, in capris weather?
In the winter, it's the opposite. Anywhere my skin is exposed to extreme cold...hives.
See what I mean?
I need to move into a bubble...
I'm going shopping with my parents today, so I'm going to hunt for some of that fat-free coffee cream.
Yesterday, I washed a 105 year old quilt in the bathtub. Left it to drain, since it's impossible to wring water out of a quilt. This morning, I awoke to a navy blue bathtub. I guess fabric wasn't color-fast back then...
I hope the dye settles down before I have to mend it. It needs quite a bit of patching, although it seems to have held up pretty good, considering it's age...made in 1904.
I'm not going to say much about food and exercise. I'm struggling to lose a pound...or maintain. Anytime I hit a plateau, I have a great fear of seeing the needle on the scales go UP instead of DOWN, when I finally do break the plateau...
I guess we'll find out tomorrow.0
