Female body types

PLUS, a lot of these are talking about weight, not body type. Morbidly obese is not a body type. Neither is chubby. Neither is muscular. You have to alter your appearance to gain these body shapes, they are not a natural body type. The "normal" one is not "normal" - it may be a "normal" bf% and weight bit if you title it body types, you're talking pear, apple, hourglass etc.
And the woman labeled "normal" is a banana or whatever, which I'm pretty sure is the least common shape - pear shaped is most common.
And yeah, we can't decide which is our goal, as most of us do not have the same build as these women, and bf%/weight gain/loss will do nothing to change that.
A better title would have been "female weights and body fat %" and asked what people are aiming for in that respect.
I can't aim to be an hourglass shape anymore than I can aim to have black skin.0 -
Curvy/muscular. There's no way my body will ever not be curvy no matter how small I get (which is awesome) but I'm definitely looking to lose a lot of fat (obviously) and eventually add some muscle to the equation. Yum lol0

And...Why don't we line men up based on their weight and judge them accordingly. I mean, really, have you ever seen this for men?
This whole scale promotes disordered eating and body image. I can't believe someone with so much training posted this.0 -
You tell me what I am! I say fat cuz I hate what the scale says!!!0
-
Ok well with their say of "chubby" which she isn't chubby to me in my opinion..I'd be happy as hell to be there...0
-
yikes - i think there are a few more in between.0
-
I think a heavier curvy is what i'm going for0

Between the smaller set of pictures and the larger set of pictures picture a number of the examples appear to have been lost. I pick the one that we can't see. The one who looks like me.

Hey guys, my name is Amber. Some o fyu will have seen the thread I posted earlier which got deleted. I just want o let you guys in on a bit of information. I am a loyal and faithful christian to the Lord, and Jesus christ and also an animal lover. This is why I am a vegetabletarian. There is a girl on this site who goes by the name Sophiebee92. Please do not be friends with her. She is a prostitute. Last year my bf made 1 million dollars reviewing and directing pornos. And he says he has seen her in one. Also I am on this site to be honest and respectful so it makes me mad when people lie about their bodies. This girl 100% has fake boobs, I can tell. Plus my dad is one of the top 3 plastic surgeons in the country and he told me. She is also on steriods, that is how she has muscles. I respectfully warn all of you that she has sold these to, please don't take them. Having muscle kills girls.
Plus what cheerleader and blonde girl like her have you ever seen who is not a complete *****. It is obvious that the only reason she is on this site is to sell her body. Now that is not ok with me. If you want a friend like her just go to the grocery store and by yourself a Barbie doll, its the same thing!!
Also I want to warn you about some of her other friends too. One of them personally told me in a pm that her family are thieves. Another one called me a ***** and two of them were in pornons with her. Some o fthe most insulting comments were from cannonsky, delco, glamour60xtreme, becca_daniel, grapenutsf to name a few! All because I tried to give a little constructive criticism
Also I urge you guys to please help me get her banned. Thank you and I hope you have a pleasant evening!!
PLEASE SPRESD THIS MESSAGE!!!0 -
Uh, I think "fat" looks pretty good. I think that's what I have in my mind as a goal. Sad to hear that's what "fat" is supposed to look like though. And who came up with this anyways. That "normal" looks nearly the same as the "skinny" which really should be called MALNOURISHED. Anybody?
Wrong!!! I suppose I'm "normal" , maybe better but pretty close actually, I've got a bit more definition and am a bit more fine boned. A few less drinks and I'm closer to curvy, as in less weight midsection - probably due to a decent hip width. I wouldn't mind being a bit more towards athletic. Working on it!
My doctor lists me as "well nourished", see what that means? http://www.thefreedictionary.com/well-nourished
Apparently, I'm a happy piggy eating flowers. Fine with me.
*editing because posts like this anger me.0 -

Goal: combination of normal and curvy - I have small boobs, big hips, big bum, big thighs so don't think I'd look normal on the bottom half. But I'd like to have more definition than those two.
Currently my body resembles the fat one.0 -
I feel like fat and obese are very different.. there should be something between then.
I'm currently at chubby - aiming for curvy.0 -
Curvy-Muscular.
I WANT to be thick. But I want low body fat. I want the boobs, the hips, the butt, and the defined arms!0 -
Between athletic and muscular, closer to athletic than muscular.0
-
Curvy all the way!0

*THAT* is what you call "chubby"? Are you kidding me? That girl looks fine, except she's got a stomach. Sheesh, are we unrealistic or what?! :noway:Why don't we line men up based on their weight and judge them accordingly. I mean, really, have you ever seen this for men?

Yep. I have seen this for men.
I honestly don't see this as promoting any sort of distorted body image. The "chubby" woman is in fact above the healthy range of body fat no matter how you choose to look at it. You can try to make yourself feel better all you want but at the end of the day you're only fooling yourself.0 -

I agree. She may be "healthy" and average, I'm sure, but she is chubby.0 -
Ideal for me would be the 'athletic' but with the 'muscular's arms/shoulders0

This x100 -
I'm curvy but not the curvy that is "represented" here. The girl that is "fat" is actually curvy and I think she is beautiful; and the "chubby" girl...are you kidding me? Maybe not as toned but definately not chubby. I would have been ok with the "fat" girl being chubby. Oh, the perceptions....0

I am aiming for somewhere between normal and athletic. In fact I looked like the normal gal before kids. Now I look like the fat/chubby girl.0
-
athletic to muscular (for now )....0
