Female body types

PLUS, a lot of these are talking about weight, not body type. Morbidly obese is not a body type. Neither is chubby. Neither is muscular. You have to alter your appearance to gain these body shapes, they are not a natural body type. The "normal" one is not "normal" - it may be a "normal" bf% and weight bit if you title it body types, you're talking pear, apple, hourglass etc.
And the woman labeled "normal" is a banana or whatever, which I'm pretty sure is the least common shape - pear shaped is most common.
And yeah, we can't decide which is our goal, as most of us do not have the same build as these women, and bf%/weight gain/loss will do nothing to change that.
A better title would have been "female weights and body fat %" and asked what people are aiming for in that respect.
I can't aim to be an hourglass shape anymore than I can aim to have black skin.
shamelessly quoting my own post, because I just feel the need to say it again :L
lol! It deserves to be said again though!0 -
Normal I guess. I don't have the hips to be curvy lol0
-
I like athletic. Normal was good too.
In the OP, curvy is different than how curvy is used in at least one segment of life. On an online dating site, curvy means fat.0 -
i want to be curvy/muscular. right now i think i am curvy/fit.0
-
Found this on Facebook
Personally I've always preferred "Athletic".
What's your goal?

I am curvy. I like it!0 -
Normal seems pretty great0

Somewhere between curvy and athletic.
That ^^0 -
I hate these kinda threads, or any threads about curves, thigh gaps, muscular women...
they always always ALWAYS lead to body shaming, and it drives me nuts.
because someone needs to make a stand against this misogynistic bull****?

It all makes sense now lol
I like "fit" but maybe with a little more definition.

I didn't say you hate women, but this post and many of the comments on it reek of misogyny.
First the label that put the fit girl as "normal", to suggest everything else is abnormal (you didn't make it but you did re-post it)
You're essentially asking people to judge what is nicest
And as someone who is clearly well educated in fitness and who has made plenty good posts before, you know as well as I do that women can't "Aim" to be curvy or straight up and down.
You also have enough experience to know that threads like this descend into body fascism, insults (real women have curves, "normal" looks like a boy etc) and general all round unpleasantness.
So, I think it was a stupid and misogynistic thing to post, even if it's meant to be some kind of joke.0 -
Hey guys, my name is Amber. Some o fyu will have seen the thread I posted earlier which got deleted. I just want o let you guys in on a bit of information. I am a loyal and faithful christian to the Lord, and Jesus christ and also an animal lover. This is why I am a vegetabletarian. There is a girl on this site who goes by the name Sophiebee92. Please do not be friends with her. She is a prostitute. Last year my bf made 1 million dollars reviewing and directing pornos. And he says he has seen her in one. Also I am on this site to be honest and respectful so it makes me mad when people lie about their bodies. This girl 100% has fake boobs, I can tell. Plus my dad is one of the top 3 plastic surgeons in the country and he told me. She is also on steriods, that is how she has muscles. I respectfully warn all of you that she has sold these to, please don't take them. Having muscle kills girls.
Plus what cheerleader and blonde girl like her have you ever seen who is not a complete *****. It is obvious that the only reason she is on this site is to sell her body. Now that is not ok with me. If you want a friend like her just go to the grocery store and by yourself a Barbie doll, its the same thing!!
Also I want to warn you about some of her other friends too. One of them personally told me in a pm that her family are thieves. Another one called me a ***** and two of them were in pornons with her. Some o fthe most insulting comments were from cannonsky, delco, glamour60xtreme, becca_daniel, grapenutsf to name a few! All because I tried to give a little constructive criticism
Also I urge you guys to please help me get her banned. Thank you and I hope you have a pleasant evening!!0 -
I'd love to have the curvy body but since no amount of chest presses will increase my cup size, I'm aiming more for normal0
-
I'm curvy and very happy to be there :-)0
-
I would say a cross between athletic and muscular.0

You take offense to the thread. I get it. But no need to label me as a misogynist when it's you point of view and not true.

Yikes, I actually thought this thread was a joke, a kind of tongue-in-cheek social commentary on the "post your perfect body" threads. To suggest that *that* body represents "normal" is so over-the-top ridiculous that I thought it HAD to be a joke. Same goes for the suggestion that women are capable of determining the shape of their bodies to the extent that they can "aim for" one of these body types. Apparently I was mistaken. Bummer, I actually used to have a lot of respect for the OP.0
-
I'm a combo of 3-4 with plenty of back! Would like to be just 3, but right now I feel like I'm at 70
-
Maybe one day I can get a boob job then I can try to go for curvy. Being short though, curvy just makes me look fat.0
-
not thrilled with the "normal" as the name for any body type0

He usually has better posts, this one's a stinker0 -
I'd have to say my goal is normal/athletic, I'm currently curvy/chubby lol
And I don't think the "normal" girl looks anorexic at all, she just doesn't have as much meat on her bones. I don't like the use of the word normal to describe her body either, but I'm not going to get offended by it. If I looked like that, I'd hope people think I looked "normal" and not wierd.0 -

Curvy and Chubby.0
-
Definitely athletic!0
-
Not a fan of #2 or #7, all others are welcome to consideration...0
-
Curvy all the way, baby! I love it, and it's not like I can change it, seeing as its my natural body type, no matter my size.0

Eh? Boobs don't make curvy?0 -
I'm a combination of Curvy, Athletic, and Muscular. Does this count?0
