Wow...so basically, you pooped 12 sticks of butter. Wth did you eat?0

I would be curious to know what your daily diet consists of? How many calories you consume each day?0
-
the pathetic thing is... ALOT of people are weighing themselves after pooping! ahahahahahahaha:laugh:0
-
how do you go 4-5 times a day????0

You should be pooping every day. Once a week is not healthy. Just think of all the toxins in your body that cannot get out! I used to have the same problem, actually. No amount of fiber helped. What did help was an all natural, herbal supplement called Dr. Schulze's Intestinal Formula #1. I take one pill every night and the next day I am good to go (so to speak). I would recommend trying some. You will feel much better.0

You ought to give it a name!!! LMAO!!!0

Im in the same boat. I've struggled with IBS (Irritable Bowl Syndrome) for years. I've tried everything.. I think its genetic. I've gone a week and a half without going and then being so constipated that I almost pass out from the pain. This happens about once every 2-3 months and it literally feels like you're going to die.. It was so bad last time that I sucked it up and resorted to an enema.. I never felt so light after I did the enema.. lol you're not alone no worries0

enemas don't even work for me anymore, I always have a few in my purse and i'll feel the need to go but nothing comes out!0 -
Grab your poop and put it on the scale :P0

yah just once a week....not sure why, I had a colonoscopy and use fiber supplements, maybe just nerves? But I usually average once a week!
I would be nervous too if I had to poop three pounds at a time.
Omg, hilarious! Me too!0 -
how do you go 4-5 times a day????
I have Bowel issues... Used to be 10+ times a day and it was always diarrhea, but I have now gotten it down to 4-5 times a day and its always nice and solid which is completely natural I see a specialist about it they have said its a healthy bowel these days0 -
I've recently lost .6 and .8 lbs after pooping, but 3 lbs seems a bit extreme.0

I'm at 5+ and I have an appointment with a gastroenterologist next Friday for a check.0 -
I have had issues too. Eating right has actually helped clear up some of my issues. I also weigh sometimes before/after because curiosity.....LOL Sometimes it makes a difference, but never 3 lbs.................... I can't believe I am talking about this on the internet. Seriously, this stuff embarrasses the crap (haha) out of me talking about IRL!0

So I was hoping to find a serious reply to this...
If you're having regular BMs, the average BM weights about 0.8 oz. So roughly, that's half a lb of loss. Now, most people end up peeing when they BM as well... and depending on how much fluid you're also losing, 1L of fluid is equal to 2.2lbs. So weighing after emptying yourself is probably the most accurate way to do so... at least, you cut out the fluctuations.
to the OP, is your GI md or your pcp aware of your daily intake? It sounds like you have basically no natural fiber in your diet. Very limited fruits and veggies. A combination of lean protein, fruits and veggies will definitely help. Unless you've tried that and gave up?
I work in an ER and we get overloaded bowels all the time...0 -

Whoa, no veggies? You need to eat a lot of green leafy vegetables and fruits, for one thing! try that!0 -

Not me! Pooping is the cornerstone of a lot of my families conversation.... You should have heard how much my ex and his family discuss it...almost everything ends with someone having to poop, when someone pooped, what makes someone poop,...it was ridiculous sometimes.0 -

i have tried so many things.......... fruits, veggies, supplements, flax seed, etc.0 -
If you're serious, try some Align. My doctor recommended it; it's a probiotic supplement. It might help. They sell it over the counter. I'd get a two month supply to start. It doesn't work overnight, but it seems to help. That said, I have never gone to the bathroom that big. Sounds brutal. :sick:0
