HI ladies!!!
I officially just came home and didn't get a chance to check in, in the am. I was shopping all day for an upcoming trip to Vegas!!!!!!! And yes I did find some awesone red heels! Can't wait for 10/31 to get them!!!
However, for breakfast I had Quaker Oatmeal Squares (1cup) & Skim Milk (1/2 cup). I'm a cereal fan I finally got it down to one cup...but I really need to add protein.0 -
Ok I'm shoe shopping already...preparing myself! And I think it's a much healthier obsession than thinking about food

I can't wait to go shopping for real
The red Prada are nice, the pink Prada are ADORABLE, the YSL are pretty good too and the Red Louboutin's are a must in any collection.
and I LOVE YOUR TICKER!!! Please share it!?!?! Is that doable? lol.0 -
where are the daily challenges gonna be posted? in a new thread?
im out for this challenge, i need to eat fruit, it is my replacement for cookies!0 -
Ok so as I said, I had egg for breakfast with a babybel cheese and a coffee. I had a hot pepperoni stick for lunch and I do not know what to make for dinner. I'm still not feeling great so eating is not top priority. But i know I must. I need to eat 1400 cals still today and without fruit, I am really struggling. :ohwell:
I have leftover potato salad from yesterday which sparkspeople calculated at 198 per 1/2 cup and I don't know what else to eat it with.
Is frozen corn considered sweet? I think it is in this case... maybe a garden salad with the potato salad might work. Not in the mood for food for once, can you tell? Maybe I'll leave it up to my husband to make dinner.0 -

BuffJess has given us a head's up that tomorrow's challenge will be 8-8oz glasses of water. I think she stated she would start a new thread in the morning.0 -

Yayy you!! I have a honeydew melon and pineapple calling my name. And a pint of homemade ice cream my husband made but I am determined today to succeed. (not to mention - feeling kind of sicky so it helps)
My true weakness is salt. I have a hard time with not caving to the salt tooth.
Oh and what breaks me completely is cinnamon anything with cinnamon I CAN'T refuse. So Jess you can add resisting salt as a daily challenge which would include salted nuts, chips, adding salt to food, salted candies, etc.0 -

salt I can do but cheese? no cheese? why bother living???  :sad:0 -
dinner consisted of Potato salad, 1/6 of a Dr. Oetker pizza and a garden salad for 684 cals. I have 797 remaining. I walked 7.2kms in an hour today and burned 710 cals. I'm not sure I can eat that many more without fruit. Give me ideas please, that don't involve salt (I end up craving it for days).0

Man I was on here all day and had NO idea we were on a new thread!! Thanks jbuerer!!!!!!!:drinker:
Okay, let's see....
BREAKFAST: 1 plain sarah lee bagel w/ 2 tbsp cream cheese...and only 1 tsp sugar in my coffee as opposed to the usual 2..YAAAY!!!
LUNCH: leftovers from dinner....1/2 breaded parmesan chicken, 3 red baby potatoes, all recipes best green beans (sauteed in garlic w/ bacon pieces)
AFTERNOON MEAL: 2 slices healthy whitewheat bread, 1/4 avocado sliced, 1/2 roma tomato, 1 slice fat free cheese, 1 tbsp miracle whip light and salt...MY FAVORITE SANDWICH!!! with a cup of honey vanilla chamomile tea, 1 tsp sugar
DINNER: 1/4 cup of shredded bbq pork on a burger bun, 1 medium ear of corn, 1/2 cup mashed potatoes
And about 8 glasses of water so far. Man, if we do the no salt challenge...I WILL DIE!!!!! Sweets aren't a problem for me (although I usually have light yogurt for breakfast or toast and a bowl of fruit) but salt...."Hi, my name is Kaitie, and I am a salt-aholic!" :laugh:0 -
LOL I hear ya about the salt... I note you had sugar in your coffee and tea, is that not considered sweets?
I just had a bag of smart pop popcorn and still have over 300 to eat today :grumble: Maybe I'll have a tall glasss.... can't do it, it's sweet... was going to say choc milk.... aaaaahhhhh.0 -
so i went inline skating and before going i was under by like 300 logged the inline skating down (I actually went fast and didnt fall!! ) Oh yea and i even cut the work out time in half and now im under by 748cals or something  gosh darnit0

We're in the same boat...I'm currently debating with my husband as to what I should eat. I just had a bag of popcorn and still have 364 cals to consume. I think I'll have a bowl of shreddies no sugar.0 -
I didnt get a chance to post after brkfst yesterday so here are meals:
dinner
Smithfield Boneless Pork Chop Center Cut
Grilled Squash (I cup)
Garden Vegetable Blend (Green Giant)
Snack
4 medium Strawberries
Brkfst (today)
Thomas Whole Wheat English Muffin
1 tbsp Sugar Free Strawberry Preserves
1 tsp Blue Bonnet light margarine
1 boiled egg
Water
I had an easy workout yesterday as my muscles are mad at me for not giving them a rest....0 -
YAY!! I'm so glad I can have fruit again today!!! The strawberries were haunting me all night last night!! Water for today, that I can do, I love water. Last night had a great Yoga X workout, doing things now that when I started 3 weeks ago were just a dream!!! I was so excited. I love this new lifestyle and all the benefits that come from it. Some days are hard of course, but when smaller clothes fit and people notice and you are physically getting stronger all the struggle is really worth it!!!0

I have a suggestion for all of you that exercise in the afternoon then have a bunch of calories to eat at night. Have you ever considered just increasing your calories to your goal weight maintanence calories and using exercise to create more of a deficit? That's what I do so it's easier for me to plan my day and I've never had a problem losing weight. Or in the morning you could input the minimum exercise you intend to do so you can even out your eating. I know I can't eat a lot at night or my sleep sucks even more and I feel icky. Just thought I would try to give you a couple of suggestions to help with your dilemma. :flowerforyou:0
-
WOW. I didn't realize how hard it would be to only have one sweet. :noway: I swear the ww ice cream bar was screaming at me by the time I went to bed last night! But I did not give in! *self-five*
Ok. Water I can do! :drinker: :drinker: :drinker:
Definitely need to have a exercise challenge soon. I fell so far off the exercise wagon I might need to chase it to get back on...maybe that will burn some calories. :bigsmile:0 -
How do we get on a team? What is the criteria?0
-
Good Morning every one! Just checking in-
for breakfast my office brought in Dunkin Donuts... OMG!!!! :noway: Actually they brought in donuts, cinnamon rolls, kolaches, munchkins, and turn overs... Are you friggin' kidding me!!! :noway: :noway: :noway: :noway: :noway:
I haven't touched one!
One of my co workers knew that I was watching what I ate so she brought me an egg white flatbread sandwich from Dunkin Donuts. (so sweet!) :flowerforyou:
I ate that instead and it was good, and not too bad for me. I opened it up and threw one piece of the flatbread away, so half the carbs there.
Oh and I had a glass of orange juice, which was good, but totally not worth the calories, carbs, or sugar! What was I thinking?!?
But not a bad start, now its time for some water. Lots of it! :drinker:0 -
My sweet yesterday was reduced fat nilla wafers - just enough to satisfy - I love those things but I don't have them very often. Gotta read back to see what todays challenge is....
Breakfast today was Cream of Wheat with 1/2c skim milk and 4 t of Brown Sugar, coffee and fat free half and half0 -

i don't want to write all the food out that i've been eating, so i will just say:

if you are interested, you can view it through my profile0 -
