So I don't know if I'm old fashioned or whatnot, but I'm curious... Guys, would you rather a girl hit on you?..Or do you prefer to take the initiative to approach her first?

    I had to make the first move with my husband. I know if I didn't then we wouldn't have started to date. Before I met hime I NEVER hit on guys first. =) He was the first and last guy I made the first move one.

    I don't care who you are- if you like someone, do something. Don't run the risk of missing out on something because you waited for someone to approach you and they didn't.

    it's the whole trying to figure out if he'd respond positively to being hit on by a girl thing that's throwing me off to be honest.

    I hit on guys! I think it is a shame to let a hot guy go...maybe he's shy or blind and didn't see me! :)

    i was oblivious to my wife hitting on me...thought we were just friends then she took me to a bar, got me drunk, and took advantage of me. IT WAS GREAT.

    some of us are a little naive. we think we are good, just not good enough.

    Just trying to figure out where any woman was acting like a princess and asking for men to dote all over them. I'm sure most women are saying that they would hit on a guy and the guys are saying that they wouldn't mind getting hit on.

    This kind of response is silly...makes women look worse than they are.

    Some guys (like me) are super shy and clueless. I never spoken to a girl unless it's work or during a soccer game. And it would not have worked if my girlfriend didn't come talk to me first. And I feel very grateful for that opportunity she gave me 13 years ago.

    HELL YES I like it when a girl hits on me. Or at least I did, it's been a while. And don't just bat your eyelashes and smile coyly trying to entice a guy to make a move, that's just an irritating game.

    Not necessarily true. I feel flattered regardless and I wouldn't dare be a jerk about it.

    I'm happy when any woman talks to me. She doesn't have to be hot. Guys are no different than women... we both like attention.

    I wasnt referring to the OP but ok. Just give it a few more posts and the "traditional" ladies will start rolling in and then you will see what I mean. If you read the other thread then it would be shoved in your face but never mind.
