Oops, I took Monday off work and so I've been off a day this week.
CW: 133.8 up .8 and same statement as last time. I have not been giving 100%, so what should I expect?!
I'm really looking forward to our next challenge! I think it's easier in the fall to be more focus.

Need to lose 5.3 pounds by the next weigh in to meet my goal so obviously that's not going to happen.

I am terrible about keeping up with threads, but I signed up for this challenge back at the end of May.
My starting weight on 5/29 was 199.8. My goal weight for the Summer Challenge was 179 (which is the BMI statistic for my height as no longer obese).
I'm proud to report that as of today, I am officially 175.4, for a total Summer loss of 24.4 lbs!! I'm now over half-way to my final goal weight, and I feel amazing. )
I'm sorry I didn't keep up with the thread, but I just wanted to say I stuck with it and reached my goal. I hope everyone had a fantastic summer!0 -

I am positively amazed and cannot believe I lost 3.5 pounds since last week. I really struggled to make sure I didn't go over my daily calorie goal all week, but I ate well, drank all my water, kept up my exercise and on Sunday when we took my son to college and ate out at Cheeburger Cheeburger (and even with going light on toppings, eating only half the roll on my grilled chicken sandwich, and having a 2 topping sundae, around 1300 calories for that meal alone!) but threw in an extra 2 mile walk on top of my usual 4 mile walk, it seems that big time water weight was the culprit the previous week and I was able to make up for it. I am pleased as punch with my Challenge results!
THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU, INSKYDIAMONDS, for creating this Summer Challenge for us!!! I honestly think it is what gave me the incentive to stay on track all through the summer, even with the 10 day vacation. Had it not been for the challenge, I probably wouldn't have bothered keeping up my exercise during vacation, wouldn't have counted calories and monitored my eating during vacation and summer holitday picnics, and would have had difficulty getting back on track after vacation.
Please, please please give us a Fall Challenge to keep us honest during Back To School night/Parent Visitation weekend hazzards, Halloween Candy binges, Thanksgiving feasts, Ladie's Club potlucks, Girl's Night Out and Holiday Cookie binges!0 -

Wow!!! What a challenge!! Congratulations everyone. It looks like everyone worked hard and saw progress.
In the choas of a daughter getting married I didn't get my weights entered in the last bit. Last weeks weight was 167.6 and my final weigh in for the challenge is 166.7.
I didn't reach my goal, but considering what I ate during the last two weeks of wedding stuff and then recovery stuff, as well as an ankle that still thinks it wants to cause me grief after a major sprain this spring that put my right off my feet for months, I figure I didn't do too bad.
I am looking forward to the next challenge. Any idea how I will be able to find it on here?0 -

Well, did not do as well as I wanted this challenge. Very difficult for me as a lot of summer vacation and I am not great at meal planning and exercise away from home. need to work on that.

Well this is the last of August and I didn't do as well as I wanted. I have to say that if it wasn't for having to check in each Tuesday I probably would have given up. Reading each post on Tuesdays has really helped keep me going. Thank you everyone for helping me to keep going., even if you didn't know you were. I'm just thrilled to be under 200.

I didnt reach my original goal of 184 (30lbs) but i couldnt be happier for this loss that happened. I'm still going to stay on track for my ultimate goal of 140-145..i know it can be done!

I weighed in this morning at 176.4. For this challenge I have lost 8.6 pounds. I may not have met my original goal but I am thrilled to have lost nearly nine pounds. Thank you so much for keeping me on track with this challenge.I can't wait for the next one!0
