April started out badly, but turned around near the end, and I managed a 3 pound loss.

no weight loss in a month and the calorie restriction is harsh...Half the calories I was getting while pregnant and on a gestational diabetic diet. Guess it's going to be all about the working out. Now let me get off my *kitten* and push a stroller through the neighborhood on this beautiful Saturday morning!

I'm in again for this month but I am setting my goal to a 3lbs loss for the month as I have recently changed my goal to a .5lbs loss a week. I was starting to feel hungry all the time even when I was eating my exercise calories so I thought it was time to up the calorie intake and aim for a lower weekly loss.
Hey Belle - are you eating enough protein / healthy fats? I've recently added a handful of nuts to my daily diet, and it's helping keep the cravings away. Good luck this month! You've been doing incredibly well, especially with all the running! (no wonder you're so hungry!)0 -

I could really use the support and encouragement from other people. I am going on a cruise next month and would love to weigh around 128-130 for it because I know I am going to have a very tough time staying on target entirely but I know when I come back from it I will start up again. I would love to make it a lifestyle not just a diet does anyone have any sugestions on how to do that?0 -

Running my 4th half marathon tomorrow, the first one where I will weigh under 200 pounds!
Update: Ran my half marathon this morning. 30 pounds lighter than the last one I ran. 13 minutes faster - one minute per mile faster. Burned 1814 calories according to my HRM. Now if the scale only agrees next week......0 -

I saw this post at the perfect time. I just started losing again after a two month plateau by upping my calories. And now I have a beach trip coming up and a new bathing suit to wear. happy
