    He wanted 11/12/13 but I pretty much DO NOT want a wedding. At all. Aren't there enough other things, better things, to spend that much money on?

    Trying to convince him to elope.. Vegas maybe?

    well Vegas sounds cool! Are you sure you wont regret it later in life( not having a big wedding)? can I tell you Wifey and I got married at Sunset on the beach in Aruba? My parents weren't happy about it b/c they are Catholic but I told'em "you're welcome to attend, if you choose not too I understand but this is what we want" . I am Wifeys second husband and she had the big wedding the first time

    When I'm sitting by my awesome pool in my sweet house that I bought instead of spending money on one day? Absolutely not.

    I thought it was going to be fun. Picking out decorations and food and venue and dresses.. Then I got stressed. Quickly. Then I added up the costs and nearly fainted. Plus, his sister is getting married this November.. Will all his family be able to make it down again next year? Then we already got *kitten* on when we told them what date was picked ("OH MY GOD ON A TUESDAY?"). I also fear judgement for the fact that his sister is spending like 40k and I'd be trying to spend like, 10k. Maybe I'm crazy for thinking that way?

    VEGAS BABY. Doesn't that sound more enticing? :D
