    1. I actually gave myself the fear of flying. When I was in grade school I used to read a Japanese comic/manga and the character I liked most had a fear of planes because their parents died in a plane crash. At first it was all talk but a little over a decade later when I had to get on a flight I was so scared I threw up before the flight and had to nurse ginger ales throughout the flight to prevent a second stomach purging. And now it's very real both from time and the fact I've been on one.

    2. I have TMJ from the 5 years I was addicted to chewing gum on a daily basis for roughly 5-6 hours a day. I chewed gum a lot because I had the ability to blow very big bubbles, even bubbles inside bubbles. The aftercare program at my school held bubble blowing contests every now and again and I won every time. I even chipped a tooth during one; my jaw slipped as I chewed and one of my bottom teeth chipped off and went right into the gum. I couldn't figure out why the gum suddenly got crunchy until it was over and I realized a lot of my tooth was missing. My mother's most used phrase during those years was, "take off your glasses before you blow a bubble." Never listened.

    3. The first thing I ever forget about a person is their face. Even right now with my mother in the other room I couldn't clearly picture her face in my mind if I tried to. I freaked out my boyfriend when I went to visit him last year because I spent the 3 days we had together basically staring at his face. I was trying to imprint it long enough in my mind so it wouldn't fade quickly, but I never told him that. (and yes I had a camera but considering we both were in some state of undress or dishevelment I didn't want to bring back what looked like snapshots of some random affair)

    4. I am a very fast reader. When I was in school and would have a book anywhere between 200-500 pages it would take me roughly a week or a couple days more to finish it from just reading it 1-2 hours 5 days a week. When I was 12 I went into the school's library to find the biggest book that wasn't a dictionary or thesaurus and came upon Victor Hugo's Les Miserables which was well over 1,000 pages. It took me just around a month to read it the first time and 3 weeks the second time. (the second time I skipped over much of the actual war/battle part because reading Gavroch's death scene made me cry)

    5. I scared my Junior year American Literature class. Early in the year we were assigned to do a report on a Native American tribe of our choice. My mother had always told me we had Native American blood from her side and so I decided to a report on them and make it a surprise ending with, "and guess what, I descend from them!" I descend from the Atakapa tribe which was known for its ritualistic cannibal practices. They ate their enemies and anyone bitten by a snake because they believed this sent them to Hell. For roughly 3 months after my presentation and reveal no one in the class came near me. I had a similar experience in the 7th grade when I was part of my history class's little "skit" about the Donner Party. I also used this information and what else I know about cannibalism to get a guy who was trying to bump me from my spot at a concert to leave me alone.

1.) I love natural light and HATE when people turn on overhead lights during the day.

2.) It's weird... but I love eating a clean natural diet, but I love drinking and drugs (not the hard stuff but... you know)

3.) This is lame... but I love historic fiction like Downton Abbey

4.) When I'm alone at my house, I put on Kaskade or Deadmau and dance like a crazy person.

5.) I'm very cautious by nature and sometimes worry if it's holding me back from my full potential in life.

There is Nothing lame about Downton Abbey or historical fiction. :)
Also..if you like Deadmaus and Kaskade..hit me up. I have some good recommendations. My husband has been a (deep) house music DJ for 15+ years. :)

    1. Whenever I go to the seaside, I frequently take long swims, all the while being very frightened that something is going to come up out of the depths and attack/eat me. It's a constant battle between my love of swimming and open water and the fear of what lurks within (even when there is no objective reason to worry).

    2. I hate first-person shooters, because they stress me out. Attempts by my friends to get me into them have resulted in my screaming at the screen and jumping out of my chair.

    3. I have never smoked a cigarette in my entire life.

    4. Although I enjoy the occasional casual jig, I am a terrible dancer.

    5. I have been accepted into Mensa, but am not currently a member, because I can't be arsed to renew my membership. :P

    3. My hsband and I got married on his daughter's 4th birthday and the court baliff called out his ex-wife's name. Thank heaven she was a no show for her court date.
