did not drink all that water, couldn't if I tried, stayed in the
calorie range! Exercise won't be a challenge, chasing 5 kids today!

do you drink bottled water, i find it easier. i also start right when i wake up or i can't do it either. it is just 4 bottles a day.

don't know what im gonna do for my exercise. im kinda tired. i spent all night studying...not even writing the damn test today! grrrr. so, i have to go to the doctors and get a note.

i think im gonna do 30 minutes of dance aerobics
and then i have to walk to my go bus later, and to the doctors, etc. so ill just count that as my extra 30 minutes, since the go station is FARRRRR.
also have to do 150 jumping jacks for the black team.

    Right... you're so right.

I just typed up the minutes from last Thursday's meeting. I accomplished something today. Not to mention, followed up on several emails. I tell you, it sure is a chore making this job look difficult. Coming to the site is all part of the plan. Makes me look busier than I am. Hopefull the workplace internet police won't pick up on all the fun I'm having here and ban the site from use. Did I mention I work for the Fed Gov and they restrict access to 'certain' sites on the net.

So do I! I work for the US Navy. Appearently bored government workers know no boarders.
    LOL!!!

Good to know I'm not the only government employee who surfs this site as a way to "take a break"!  I'm state gov't; work for a university. So far so good, I doubt anybody monitors our usage, there's way too many people who tell me they're on FB and Twitter all day long, so I don't feel guilty about popping into MFP a couple of times a day to give myself a brain break:laugh:

Didn't make it to work out last night, cuz my back and neck hurt pretty bad again by the time I left work. Spent the evening in my recliner with the massaging heating pad on me; helped quite a bit. Of course, the valium I took may have also helped a little:laugh:  Back to see the chiro tomorrow and take it from there.

Getting older SUCKS!!!!!! :grumble: :grumble: :grumble:

Will try to work out on my way home today IF I'm feeling up to it.
Have a good day all :flowerforyou:

Getting older is great for me! No TOM, no whiney children to wake me in the middle of the night! Money lasts longer when you are not supporting a clan! Plastic surgery fixes everything else!
  • Good morning shoe loving divas,

I too fine growing older great. Especially now that I am in better health. Love the freedom!!!

I met yesterday's challenge as I posted late last night and today's challenge won't be an issue. I workout at least an hour most days. Last night I did and hour and a half hike up, and down, and up and down and back up the moutain. It is sometimes nice to live on such a slope. My butt is pulling up again. I want a little bubble butt...

Oh and Mkwood, I don't forgo my breaks to come on here. I come between tasks and still take my usual breaks. Don't usually take the afternoon one so it justifies my time here. It is important to keep a healthy balance.

    Have a great day everyone!!

Morning lovely ladies!! I also did not meet the water challenge yesterday but oh well. I usually drink almost all 8 glasses of water, give or take a few. I drank a lot during my turbo kick class but I really don't like peeing every hour during the night so by the time I got home at 8:30 I decided to call it a day on the water lol  Should have no problem meeting today's challenge though! Usually my workouts last 50 to 90 minutes anyway; and I believe some friends and I are going to a Zumba class tonight, which is an hour long. An hour of pain and embarrassment for me, since I'm white, have no rythym, and cannot intentionally shake my butt/boobs(which really sucks since I definitely have great boobs for shaking lmao!!). Or do anything that looks like a belly dance and works abs. Ah well, maybe one day I'll get the hang of it!!!

One of the gyms on base  It's free so I take advantage of it lol! That's true, it is pretty fun, but I'll have more fun once I get the hang of it lol I don't like being one of the only ones there who is completely lost and can't dance!!

They don't offer it at any of the bases around here. They have all the best classes during the day when I can't go.:grumble: Do you go to Pendleton for the class?

I used to do the elliptical but I've become fond of the treadmill although going in reverse on the elliptical works your bum like none other.

Yeah all the classes I want to go to, like yoga, are too far to drive across base, especially since we only have my truck in use right now and my hubby has it most of the day at work. Yep we live on Pendleton so I use the gyms here. That sucks all the classes you want to go to are at inconvenient times!!

I have a home gym and a treadmill and have been thinking of adding an elliptical. I tried it at a gym once and hated it. :ohwell: but I do want to pull my butt up into a nice little round bubble and I hear this is the best option. So I'm surfing to find one used.

I use up to three machines when I go to the gym. 1:2 sprint intervals on the treadmill, 1:1 sprint intervals on the bike, stairclimber, backwards on the elliptical. I vary the machines, the amount of time on each, and the order. It keeps me entertained because I never spend more than 20 minutes on any one machine and it keeps my body guessing.

Stairclimbers are good to but I think they are more expensive.

I was thinking of that too... what ever I can find I suppose. I used to have a cheapo stairclimber 20yrs ago... didn't work at all. You get what you pay for.

I like the kind that are actual steps, like an escalator, even though I grip the rails for dear life because I'm afraid I'm going to fall. :blushing:

Those things scare me a little....actually they scare me a lot  I'm glad they do not have one at my gym. I use the elliptical and do intervals forward and backwards. Backwards definitely gets the gluteus maximus burning. (maybe that should be Max's first name....Hey there Gluteus...  )

The gym I used to go to had just added one of these kind to their "inventory" right around the time that I stopped going (due to a snowmobile accident, leaving me with a seperated shoulder  ) so I didn't get a chance to use it.... I REALLY need to start going to the gym again, not just doing workouts at home... they're kind of getting old if you know what I mean... :grumble:

Thanks! I was wondering what happened to you. You just disappeared into a abyss of unhealthy deliciousness! Glad you're back. Don't let it get you down. You can make it out of the 120's. I never thought I would make it out of the 170's let alone get to the 150's. Amazing the difference 11inches can make between our weight goals. You would be huge in the 150's and I would be bone thing in the 120's.

lmao its funny what a little height does to change what people can weigh....if i were 5'4" or whatever the average is i'd prob look like i weighed in close to 150 or 160lbs.....at 110lbs i feel like i look healthy but i have a lot of meat on me still lol.....and u go it "Joyusmaximus" I did disappear into an unhealthy abyss of deliciousness and now i'm paying for it   and whats with all the hot and sexy shoe's paired with no clothes pretty much? lol did we all decide against the clothes?
I   all of u girls!!!!! u rock!! and hopefully ya'll made good enough decisions to include me this week lmao
