Do girls really....?

My husband hooked me by cooking for me. It wasn't even the quality of the food, it was that he put time and effort into doing something for me. A far cry from the guy before him whose idea of a hot date was splitting the bill at the local drive through.0

All the men in my family are fabulous cooks. So I don't think of it as something "sexy" because it would be weird to think of my father and brothers that way. But it's nice, that's for sure.0

A man that can cook is very very very sexy. But please keep the cooking mess to a minimum... fellas need to clean as they go! Leaving a big mess is a big turn-off.0
-
Absolutely!! My husband does all the cooking, and we both like it that way. Go for it!0
-
Oh, absolutely!!!0
-
Double YAY!!!0

Hubby is a far better cook then I. I have yet to ever cook a holiday meal in 15 years, he does them all or we go out. Not to say I'm not a good cook, he's just better.0

I love when my can cooks, it's even better if I can be in the kitchen with him. So much fun, and it's a great time to bond. ^.^0
-
Absolutely!!! She's a lucky girl0

I think it's sweet but I realllyy love to cook. A guy who loves to cook also would kind of be stealing my "thing'' lol.
Personally, i like a guy who can build and fix things.
I don't plan to make it a typical thing lol. It's just something to do for a date where she can try out real authentic Asian cuisines rather than the bastardized American versions of it.
Sadly unless its electronics, I'm not a builder/fixer
Even better, I'm an electrical engineer, so its close enough :flowerforyou:0 -
Duh:P0

Men cooking for me=sexy.0

Yes please!
I'm not very domestic, I work a lot. It would be awesome if someone cooked for me.0 -
YAY ALWAYS YAY0

My husband has been cooking more frequently and most recently on Monday nights. I get home -- after working all day then taking an hour long boot camp -- to dinner on the table. It is The. Most. Awesome. Thing. Ever. I love it!0

Yep, my husband had to raise himself at a young age so he cooked and cleaned for himself. He cooks during the weekend and he is a better in the kitchen than me!!!!0

like men who can cook? And I don't mean just BBQ either. I'm talking all kinds of hearty cuisine that can put you in a food coma.
Suppose to be on a date with this girl I've been seeing for a while and last couple of times I've just been hitting the bars or something where I just sipped on a can of coke (I know...manly right?) but this time I wanna cook and have the date at my place instead.
So ladies, men cooking for you. Yay or Nay?
Uh that is a no brainer COOK HER A MEAL! Women LOVE that. I am quite a chef so I wouldnt want competition but it would be pretty sexy if my husband made me a gourmet meal once in a while0 -
Yes, but not something that is gonna happen for me. Hubby's idea of cooking is picking up the phone. Only time I get cooked for is if we go out or we go to a friends house.0

Love a man that can cook, even better if he cleans up after himself!0
-
I wished! My husband can't cook and if he does, it's horrible.......I think it's sexy if a man can!0

I always say that I would love it if the hubs cooked for me, but honestly, I am a bit of a control freak in the kitchen. When he tries to cook, I offer unsolicited advice... he offers to help me cook sometimes, and sometimes I take him up on it and sometimes I don't.
I think I've gotten worse since I started eating healthy.
Cleaning though... I still love that. When he cleans, I am a happy camper!0 -

Well, my boyfriend does most of the cooking, but that's primarily because he's pickier about what he eats than I am. I would actually prefer to do the cooking for myself, because he doesn't really foods that I would prefer, but then I'd have to make two dinners, and that's just way too much effort. So he cooks, and that's nice.
I would LOVE a man to cook something I enjoyed, though. That would be splendiferous.0 -
Anytime someone cooks for me is a good thing.0

I love a man who would cook! And if he didn't cook, he'd do the dishes, or at least help0
-
Is this a trick question?!
My answer...... Not yes, but hell yes!0 -
My guy loves to cook and now I'm completely spoiled. He cooks food from pretty much every cuisine and he does it really well. It was a huge turn on when we first got together. But be warned, once we get used to it we turn into princesses and don't ever want you to stop.0

I wish my husband would cook me something! I can't remember the last time he did. Definatly a plus!0

A man cooking for his woman? That's absolutely welcome and awesome. Honestly if he is any good at it at all, its better than eating out (IMHO).
I'm on your friends list, and know you cook indian food. I've been meaning to ask you if you know how to cook chicken tikka masala or butter chicken/murgh makhiani (SP?).
If you cook any of those well for a woman, I bet she'd die and go to heaven.
So if there is a lady that you're thinking of cooking for - go ahead and mention it! I bet she will feel really special you are making the effort for her.
I can cook Tikka masala. Its easy. I don't know how to cook butter chicken. I think I'm a decent cook and most of my friends and ex's agree lol0 -
You get bonus points if you can cook for your kids and it's healthy.
No kids here. So I guess no bonus points0 -
