I'm 5'7" and want to be between 135 and 150 big gap, but I was aiming for 140 but I can fit most of my old skinny clothes that I wore at 150 now at 168 so I'm thinking in 18 pounds I may be happy or I may need to tone some places.0

My goal weight was 140, and that's what I'm sitting on right now. I have a medium build with broad shoulders, so the weight looks pretty good on me. I had thought about going down to 135, but after telling my husband, he asked that I don't do that.0

I'm 5'8" and I just want to get to 175. Seems high compared to a lot of these other answers, but I honestly haven't been less than 200 pounds since 8th grade. So! Let's start there is what I say lol0

I am 5'7" so, slightly under your height range but just for reference I am (once I deliver my son) going to work to get back to 130 - 133lbs. That seems to be my best weight range. I do have a pretty narrow top but a thicker bottom half.0

Dang, lol. I'm shooting for like 180. It's technically above the "healthy" weight, but I'm built thick. When I get there, I'll re-evaluate and see if I want/need to go any smaller.
I'm with you, I'm 5'10" and if I can get under 200 I will be happy and see where I want to go from there, but I am thinking much less then 175 and I just wouldn't look right.0 -
I am going for 160. I believe that losing too much weight will make my face sag so 260 which will be another 90 pounds.

I'm hovering around 148 right now. I could go lower... but after 150 for some reason I'm really content. Maybe because I know it's a great weight for being 5'8''. I'm wanting to push my weight down to 140 but am not focusing on the scale so much except to make sure I am maintaining. Which I'm shocked because I really don't restrict what I eat anymore... always around 2000 calories a day and never seem to go over 150! And it's been 2-3 months like this.
I figure all I really care about now is just slimming down more. So I've been strength training. Sadly only been able to go twice a week lately because of a hectic schedule but hope to ramp it up in the summer.
This is coming from being 208 lbs when I started so I'm VERY grateful at where I am now even though I could probably afford to dip down another 15 lbs. :bigsmile:0 -
I am somewhere between 5'8" and 5'9" I started at 213 and was 198 this morning, but I would love to eventually get to 150-160ish. I remember what it felt like to weigh that so that was my goal. I have to take it week by week or it gets overwhelming. So my short term goal is 180 and then I'll lower it when I get there0

I'm 5'9", 142.5 currently and want to get down to about 125-130, although inches mean more than pounds. I do NOT carry weight well at all. It automatically goes to my belly and looks ridiculous with my nonexistent hips. I don't look terrible, but I looked and felt better when I was smaller.0

At the minute I am aiming for 135.
To be honest, I would settle for a higher weight, if I had a lower body fat %. I'm going to start weightlifting soon, so I guess I'll have to wait and see what the results are when I'm closer to the finish line!

I am 5'9', and I would be happy at 140. I am being realistic as I am almost 50 years old. Throughout my late teens and twenties I weighed 115-120, but that would be impossible for me to achieve at this point in my life.0

I'm 5'8" and I'm going for 160-170. I have never been "skinny", even since high school. I wasn't "fat" back then, I was about 150...size 9 or so. A size 9 would be awesome for me.
I think it's in the way I carry the weight. Most people think I'm 130-140 now, and I'm 192!!!!! Crazy they don't see it, I sure do.
i agree! i'm 5 ft 7 and 170 is my hard to maintain bikini thin!

I am 5'8" and my goal isn't necessarily to lose weight but to have less body fat. My over all goal is 130 but since weightlifting and working out I still weigh 135.0

I'm 5'7" and clocking in at 135, which was my original goal weight. I've gotten down to 132, but frankly, it was too difficult to maintain.
Weight is a good starting point but I found that the size of my clothes was a better long-term measure. I wear a size 2 or 4 in pants and 6 in dresses. I didn't think that would happen at this weight. Just depends on your frame!0 -

At 5ft 8 my goal is just under 165. My boyfriend thinks that will be too small for me but I will decide when I get closer.0

I'm 5' 8" and aiming for 65kg (143 lbs). This was my weight a few years ago, so I have a good idea of how it looks on me.
When I get there, I will reassess and see whether I need to go further, but I doubt that I will if I have succeeded in exchanging several kilos of fat for kilos of muscle haha.0 -

Focused more on getting in toning and improving fitness levels.
Comfort factor in my jeans tends to be my guide.
I'll be happy in my bikini for summer at 126 then no doubt creep up nearer 140 in winter again.0
