I must be in the low 30's for body fat percentage.0 -

I'm a pear. My torso is so long and slim that my short legs look like godzilla. On top, I am skin and bones but look down and whoa! I don't even have substantial weight on my chest and behind. All thighs! :laugh:
My main goal is to slim and tone my thighs down but no spot reduction, so I'm hoping that because there's less to burn on my upper body, my thigh and calf fat will be the ones to go. I HOPE! :drinker:

Where does everyone measure? I see that some websites say measure at top right under butt. Others like bodybuilding forum say midway between knee and bottom of butt. That makes a huge difference in my case!0

So I'm 5'8.5", 147lbs with 35-26-34, BF is about 19% (within 1-3%) acording to an online army body fat calculator. Thigh is 23" at widest and calf is 13" at widest. Good or bad? I personally think my legs are too thick, but I am my worst critic...0

I am currently carrying around 30kg of fat I don't need after chemo & other stuff for breast cancer - got the all clear on 13 June 2014
According to the scale at the gym I have 27kg of bone & muscle, 22kg of other non-fat tissue & 30kg of fat...
measured myself this morning & have been going to gym 5 days a week for a month now
5ft4 or 162cm tall & weigh in at 80kg or 180lbs
calves - 16"

ankles - 9" (they are thin but I have heavy bone structure)0 -

I'm nearly in the same boat as well!

BMI: 18.7
Body Fat: different calculators have ranged from about 14% to 22%
Waist: 25
Hips: 30
Calf: about 15
Thighs: 20
I think most of my fat goes to my thighs! Even though I supposedly have PCOS (unsure of diagnosis, but that's another story), I think I have less fat on my abdominal area than I do my thighs. Also, I'm thinking after doing Insanity, those millions of squats added muscle with little fat reduction. As much as I dislike cardio like running, I might really have to pick it up to lose the weight.
Any tips for lean thighs MUCH appreciated!0 -

This post has made me feel better about my calf size, used to think they were huge but now I am thinking normal I still want them smaller, but hey ho, that will come in time ( I hope! )

Okay I never realised my thighs were so huge! =[ well this is the wake up call I needed.
I have fat thighs too and same measurement as yours. Its so difficult to get rid of fat in the thighs. .0 -

No clue on BF%. I have quite a bit of loose skin on my thighs so I think that's effecting it a bit.0 -

I had a thigh gap a few months ago and I was starting to really like my thighs, but I started binging and gained a lot. Now my thighs are 23" and I can't wait to get id of them.0

I'm in love with angular thighs and they're starting to get that way from my slight bulk I did since back then. Tough cookies for me now though with my current injury but fun to look back!

I won't lie. I hate my thighs. But, since I'm close to my goal...... I like them more. I'm tall so they are long legs and they are not skinny, but they are pretty lean and muscular now. Would I like another inch off? Damn straight!! But, I'm wearing size 4 pants and the legs aren't too tight. So for now I'm ok with it.
GIRL we have almost identical measurements and body fat. I thought I was abnormal...people still call me skinny despite those thighs. i think I'm the only one that has a problem with them.
