I did actually lose a little but not much, my starting weight was 158.5, today I weighed in at 158.2 so still a loss. Hope to keep on track over the weekend and see a bigger dip next week. It's gonna be a long, hard month for me, lots of traveling, my birthday, and moving none of which are exactly condusive to eating healthy.

I am happy to say I did stay under my calorie goal for the 4th! I got up, got in my exercise, and enjoyed the day. The planning ahead definitely helped me too. I checked the calories for the honey mustard sauce (that I do love) and decided ahead of time that it was not worth the extra cals. If I hadn't taken the time to check ahead of time I know it would've added an extra 300+ calories (ouch!) to my day. Yea!!! for planning ahead!!!!

Reasonable week for me. Though, I was not able to stay under the calorie count on a lot of days, I was able to hit the gym regularly. Nothing beats the high after a good run for me. I am glad I have been able to endure longer and longer runs as the week progressed. I am going to keep it that way. At the moment, I hardly do any strength training, just cardio.

My biggest challenge has always been portion control and I just wolf it down when I like something. I want to get rid of this nasty habit in due course of time. All said, I am super glad I joined myfitnesspal and this challenge. While the challenge is a great way to start eating well and exercising regularly, I am hoping I can make the good habits stick and make them an integral part of my life. Thank you all.. and all the best!

I am also a Friday weigh in. I was able to stay under my calories, but did not get to hit the gym like I would have liked to. That will be my challenge to myself.

I'm extremely surprised, and very pleased with my weigh in! I went over my calories pretty bad on Tuesday, but other then that I'm pleased with my week! As long as I continue to hit the gym hard. I think I will be in good shape *no pun intended* LOL!

How funny~ Exactly 170.00 last Friday and today! I wasn't expecting a loss with overeating (and..ahem drinking) for the holiday parties and with TOM here, so staying exactly the same works for me!
I'm doing the Philly Color Run on Sunday and I'm sooo excited! It's my first ever race~ even if it's not an actual race I'm still proud of myself already!

I didnt expect a loss this week. Two days of going over on calories, I just didnt have the push I needed to do well this week. My motivation was gone, and frankly this challenge was the only think that keps me coming back to MFP.

This weigh in has remotivated me...shown me what a little hard work and dedication can do. I needed this weigh in!

Under Calories today AND I got in a bunh of water! WIN WIN!

    How was everyone else's day?

These are the foods my husband cooked yesterday... a thick, juicy, aromatic steak, chicken mole with beans and rice, and tomato basil soup with garlic toasts. Told you all it's a lot of temptation when he's home! ;-) I made sure to burn lots of calories, stayed in my green numbers and even had a nice deficit! I really like having him home but I have to say... three more days of food temptation! I think I can... I think I can... I think I can... be good!

Motivation time... Try checking on here first thing in the morning and then go read a few of the success stories on MFP. The most motivating one, for that day, print the picture out, cut off the head, and put it on the fridge. Or something similar... We can do this!

My husband is the same way, except he is home all the time. Its so hard, which is why I have had a few over days. I need to keep the green. Today I am beginning to work out in the morning, so that if I end up with a temptation it wont ruin my whole day.

Hi guys, this is my first post after the weigh in on Monday!! Was on vacation the whole week and went over my calorie value
most of the days but did compensate a little bit with all the hiking, biking and swimming! Will be. Weighing in tomorrow! Keeping my fingers crossed for at least maintaining my weight!
