Because of the reasons most everyone else has said and because I never regret a workout but I always regret not working out...like today. :grumble:

I work out so I can eat more.

Yeah, yeah... plus the health benefits, relieves stress, tones, builds muscle, etc. But if I'm being honest, it's so I can eat more. Plain and simple.

I started out because of this, then it became so I could get to my goal faster and so I wouldn't feel guilty, now it's because I feel better and have more energy

I have been doing this for so long now, it's more like "why wouldn't I be working out?" and I can't really think of a good answer for that.

The working out is the easy part of the new lifestyle. It's the eating healthier part that's hard for me :(

I work out to loose unwanted weight and it makes me feel happier :)

I workout because I want to try and stay in shape for my wife and 2 active boys!

The body and fitness level I want can't be achieved by diet only.

And it's fun. There isn't a single workout that I do that I actually hate. It isn't a chore.

My OH and I are quite outdoorsy. It's just what we do.

My question is "Why do you work out?" or "Why don't you?"
I feel so much better, both physically and mentally, when I work out. I know I did something good for my body too. I take my rest days when my body tells me too, but otherwise if I don't work out I'm not nearly as energetic throughout the day @ work. I just feel sluggish. I need that endorphin release! :)
  • I like watching my body change and seeing how hard i can push myself. Im addicted to the rush

For health reasons, makes me feel great, stress relief! I look forward to my workout after work. Finding types of exercise you enjoy make it much easier to stay motivated.
  • 1. To eat and drink more
    2. Because I like picking up and putting down increasingly heavier weights
    3. Endorphines are addictive
    4. To totally rock the clothes I wear
    5. To look fantastic when I finally meet the woman of my dreams
    6. Er... that's it!
