    Morning Ladies,

After work I was able to get in the STS Total Body workout. This morning was the final workout in the rotation, but I subbed in Shock Cardio HiiT Double Wave Pyramid. Just couldn't do that RWH Plyo workout. When I get home I will probably pull out a core workout. I'm looking forward to doing the STS workouts.

Tami, Great job on the workouts! Sounds like a very nice day off. The retailers will use any day they can to get people into the stores to shop. I couldn't believe all the sales that where going on, and how many people had the day off. Katy did a great job deflecting they guys issues, people are way to sensitive. I bet Bernie thinks the ball is attacking you in some way. ;) Little does he realize it is Cathe he should be growling at, since she is the one torturing you at the time.

Laurel, Very nice afternoon that you and your DH had, and you get new furniture! Good job on the workouts, and that your knee didn't have any issues with the high impact. When dd gets to the make-up portion of her training, I'm hoping that she needs a model. I posted my pretty nails on fb yesterday, and now my family members want to be models. :D I asked her how she like doing nails, and she said that she likes doing hair more. She said that she would do family nails, but wouldn't do it in a salon. She probably will like doing make-up also, because she is really good at it. The BB workouts are sounding better and better.

Thelma, Hooray on the back! Glad to hear that it is feeling better. The pups will have another afternoon with me today, I'm looking forward to having the time off. I think I chose wisely on breaking the holiday up into two days. I'm also glad that they company gives me the option to do that. It never really dawned on me until you and Laurel said it, that I have my own personal manicurist. Of course I will pay her, but I don't have to leave the house.

    Have a great weekend,
    Laurie

Hi Ladies! Today's workouts started with Body Beast Build Back and Biceps. So good! To loosen those arms up again, I followed it with a combo of Turbo Fire 30 and Turbo Fire 45 which makes a good, fun 65 minute workout. Knee seems fine!

Thelma, I am happy to hear your back feels better. Hopefully a night off workouts helped it even more.

Laurie, good job getting through the STS Total Body workout and the rotation!! I think it is good your daughter already knows what she wants to do with this career. Hopefully she continues to enjoy. Boy could I use a lesson on makeup!! If she needs a model in Florida, I am here. ;)

    Tami, hope you are well.

    Enjoy the weekend!!

Hi Ladies ~ Happy Friday! This a.m. was AfterBurn and tonight I am headed to Spinning. Hopefully it's a good one, but it is Katy so it should be. A friend of mine who is new to Spinning is going to join me there; the lady who bought the bike this summer and we went riding a couple times .... her.

Laurel: Congrats on the new furniture! That is always fun once you receive it and get it all set up, just feels good I think! Awesome job on the workouts yesterday and again today; happy to hear your knee is doing fine. I really liked that Insanity workout on Wed; I can see why it is one of your favorites. I like how there is a lot of strength in there but some cardio bursts ... but not full out cardio, which I am sure most of the others are. Your reviews on BB continue to push that towards the top of my "wish list" - weird that the Tempo set is so much money. Probably because they know they have you hooked and will just buy them. LOL

Laurie: Sounds like your DD is having a lot of fun with her new career. Great for you that you get to be the model for her whenever she needs one it sounds! Good practice and bonus for you. Congrats on finishing up the rotation!! Feels good and as Laurel and I can relate, I am sure STS is sounding good right now; exactly how I felt and I am really enjoying it. I think you are exactly right on with Bernie feeling like the ball is attacking me. SO funny and yes, he should be growling at Cathe instead!

Thelma: Glad to hear your back is feeling better and a "rest" night probably helped as well. I'm with you on online shopping anymore. I like to browse an shop in stores say on vacation to see my mom or if it is not the busiest shopping time of year, otherwise for Christmas shopping I do a lot of online as well. Yes, I hope Katy goes right back to "herself" and I think she will; just maybe a little cautious last week. I would have probably been completely the opposite and made it the hardest workout ever! LOL

Hope you ladies have a great weekend ~ Playing in a volleyball tourney on Sunday and then we will have a couple weeks break, starting up the Winter league next.

Talk to you all on Monday!

Hi Ladies, I hope you all had a nice weekend. On Friday I decided to spin, Saturday was Flextrain and today spinning again. I was able to lift a bit heavier on Saturday for back, biceps and triceps. I just kept the weight low for the shoulders and I survived! My lower back and shoulders are OK thank God! DH and I are going to the Berkshires on Thursday for a couple of days. Can't wait!

Laurie, great workouts and congrats for finishing up the rotation! I hope the pups enjoyed Friday afternoon with you! It really is nice that your company lets you split a vacation day. We can do that at work too and it's great. Having a manicurist at home will save you travel time to the salon! You have to tip her too! LOL

Laurel, great workouts on Friday. Glad your knee continues to feel fine!
The night off and the massage I got from DH did my back a lot of good! Thanks!

Tami, great workouts! How did you friend like the spinning class?
I go to stores every once in a blue moon. How was your VB tourney?

    Good night ladies!

    Morning Ladies,

I took a rest day on Saturday. Sunday was STS Meso 1 Disc 1 Chest, Shoulders & Biceps. Did better on all those push-ups than I thought I would. I followed that up with Ab Circuit Med Ball Abs. This morning was Turbo Fire HiiT 15.

Yesterday DH and I went to a cocktail party, and then lecture. We meet Alastair Bruce, and took a picture with him. If you don't watch Downton Abby, then he is the historian on that series. Very interesting lecture, and I think that he could have talked and talked. So many stories to tell.

Laurel, Great job on the workouts, as you can see I added in one of those TF workouts also. I was planning on getting in some each week of this new rotation. Those HiiT workouts are nice and short, so perfect for my morning routine. If dd had a chance to get to FL, I'm sure that she would be right there showing you how to apply the make-up.

Tami, Hope that your friend enjoyed the spin class! Have to love that Afterburn workout! I'm feeling the STS workout from yesterday. When I'm doing the workout, it doesn't seem like I'm lifting enough even though I'm using my one rep max. So I'm guessing that my body was wanting to try out some heavier weights. I really do like having the pampering from my dd. She is really enjoying what she is doing, so that is a positive. Hope your VB tournament went well.

Thelma, Great workouts! So glad to hear that you could up your weights without any problems. Something to look forward to this week, and having only three days to work. Makes the workday so much better when you can take half days at work. The day sure does fly by so fast.

    Have a great day!

Hi Ladies! We had a nice weekend here. It was cooler (high 70s) which made it so nice. Saturday was spent doing more 'spring' cleaning and getting ready for Thanksgiving. Yesterday DH and I spent Christmas shopping (!) for gifts the Salvation
Army requested for children and elderly people in need. It was actually nice to do that, and with a cloudy, cooler day and few people out...about as good as things get this time of year!

Saturday was my day off from workouts. Yesterday I started with BB Build Chest and Triceps and followed it with Cardio Core Circuit. Today was BB Shoulders followed by Body Max 2 Cardio, Circuit Blasts and core. This was my first time back on the step in a couple of weeks, and it felt good! I can't believe that on Thursday I will be starting the second phase of Body Beast already. This first phase has flown by.

Tami, hope your weekend went well and the volleyball was fun! I hope your friend enjoyed the spin class as well. I was thinking exactly the same as you about the prices of Body Beast Tempo. They know they have you hooked when you buy those!! Sadly, I have found with some of the Beachbody programs, I like the add-on workouts better than the regular program workouts (P90X2 being the best example). But I am resisting these extras....so far!

Thelma, sounds like some great working out this weekend. I am happy to hear your shoulders and back continue to improve. Really sounds like you know what to do when you first feel the pain which is really getting you back into the swing of things quickly. That's fantastic! No doubt I could do better by listening to my body a little more closely than I do. The Berkshires sound wonderful and should be so beautiful this time of year.

Laurie, great job getting back to STS....and managing all those push-ups! Bet it felt good to accomplish those. The cocktail party sounds very interesting. I haven't watched Downton Abbey yet but I have the first series so I know I will get to it eventually. I look forward to it because I have always been fascinated by English history, even more since living there. I swear I have worn grooves in my Pride and Prejudice series DVDs! Bet it was fun listening to him speak.

    Enjoy the day!

Hi Ladies ~ Nice weekend for me. Saturday a.m. I had my hair appt (early), she fit me in before her day started actually and it was perfect. Feels good to have it done as always. So no workout on Saturday. Yesterday was STS #25 Chest/Back then headed out for our Volleyball Tourn and we WON!! It was fun but a super quick tourney; they split all the times into 2 divisions, so we only had to play 2 full matches. But we were happy to win! This a.m. was STS Plyo Legs #26, which is always a great workout and tonight I will head to BootCamp after work. Fingers crossed it is a good class  Friday's Spin was just "ok" - it ended up not being Katy; she had someone fill in for her and the lady was someone I haven't had before. She was very nice and good music but only went for 40 minutes. My friend was happy with it and is actually really enjoying Spinning she said. She has a job that she can go whenever to a class so she has tried it a few times now. She said she will go again this Friday.

Laurel: Sounds like a really nice weekend and how awesome is that you guys did some Christmas shopping for a really good cause. Even more enjoyable! Fabulous job with the workouts and such great news to hear your knee was just fine with the step. I did look at some "clips" online last night of Body Beast and it does look really good! I am going to try and wait until I can see some more clips of the Hammer & Chisel before I pull the trigger and at some point will probably end up with both . . . who knows! Looks amazing! How is the warm-up? Hopefully not the same exact one every day like in P90X. LOL

Laurie: Your cocktail party does sound very interesting and sounds like you enjoyed it. Congrats on starting up STS! As I can relate, I am sure it felt great to get in that first workout. I have adjusted on my STS sheets (all of them, including Total Body) from a long time ago when I printed those out and go alot heavier on most. I sometimes wonder if I did my 1rep max testing incorrect?!?! LOL My weights always seemed a little light, even in my first couple of rounds. Since I mentioned H&C above to Laurel, do you know "when" in December it is coming out?

Thelma: So glad to hear your shoulders/back are continuing to improve. I am sure you are the happiest one of us all to have that happen! Great job with the workouts!! I was going to ask you if you are still liking your New Balance Fresh Foam Zante shoes?!?! I ask because 6pm had them on sale and so I am trying a pair out; first time this a.m. and I LOVE them so far. They fit beautifully and love the cushioning in the heal. I am normally used to more cushioning up front but they feel really good so far. But again, all new shoes feel good to me in the first several times of wearing them. LOL Your mini trip to the Berkshires sounds like fun!

Hope you ladies have a great afternoon/evening ~ I will talk to you tomorrow! Tami

Hi Ladies, LIS Total Body Trisets Upper Body Split. Back and shoulders still doing good but now the plantar fascitis is acting up. I wonder if it has to do with the Ryka cross trainers I've been using.

Laurie, good job on the STS and for making it through all those push ups! I've never watched Downtown Abby but how exciting to have met the historian on that series!
Love the short week this week and next week! We get the day after turkey day off.

Laurel, 70's! WOW! sounds like it was freezing over there! LOL. Awesome workouts these weekend!
AWWW! How nice of your and your DH to go buy the gifts for the people in need. We usually get asked to buy children's toys at work and that is fun to do.
I get hurt so easily Laurel, that it would be crazy if I hadn't figured out by now that I have to take it easy in order to get better! LOL
My body gives me no choice but to listen to it. I hope the weather gets better at the end of the week because right the forecast is calling for rain Thursday and Friday.

Tami, I'm glad you had a nice weekend. Isn't it great to get that first hair appointment of the day? You get it over with and you still have the entire day ahead of you.Great workouts and congrats on winning the Volleyball tournament! YAAY!
I think your spinning class was perfect for your friend who is not used to Katy! I hope your BC class doesn't disappoint!
Tami, I'm still in love with the Zante's! I think those are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. The most amazing part about the shoes is that I wear them without my orthotics because the wide ones are not wide enough and my feet don't bother me. Did you get the fun purple ones I have?

    Good night ladies!

    Morning Ladies,

I didn't get in a workout last night, wasn't going to happen with the way I was feeling. Since I did get that HiiT workout done in the morning, I didn't feel all that guilty. This morning I took it a little bit lighter than I had planned, because I'm still not feeling 100%. I did KCM's 30MTF Trim Down Boxing Premix. Since tonight's workout is legs, I decided to get in some upper body work. I did use my weighted gloves to give a little more cardio factor, it also helped to loosen up the body parts I tortured on Sunday.

Laurel, What a great way to spend a rainy day in FL! Great job on the workouts, and when I read that you did CCC I did a little shutter. :D That did fly by fast with that phase. Of course this time of the year goes by so fast anyway, so I'm guessing that has something to do with that also. I hear you on those extras from BB, they do tend to be good workouts but expensive. The only set that I bought the extras for was the Combat workouts. I'm glad that I did, but I paid a lot for one DVD. My chest is still feeling those push-ups, really glad that I don't have upper body work to do until Thursday. I'm sure that I remember seeing Tricep pushups in the next workout. :D

Tami, Nice that you where able to get your hair appt done early. Congrats on the tournament win! That must have been fun. Glad to hear that your friend is enjoying the spinning classes. Every time I start STS I wonder why I didn't do them all the time. I just like the breaks, and the exercises. Usually in her other weight workouts, I feel so rushed. I think I had that feeling, because I had just done STS TB. Autumn posted on her FB feed on the 14th, that H&C would be coming out in 16 days. So I think that it would be Dec 1st? I will let you know when I see an exact date. I have adjusted my 1RM over the years, so mine tends to be pretty accurate. I did think that my weights in STS TB where a little to heavy, but the first STS workout was perfect.

Thelma, Great job on the workout, hope that PF doesn't stay around. ;) Hope that it is just a matter of changing up your shoes.

I can't believe that you ladies have not watched Downton Abby! LOL This is probably one of the best PBS series that I have watched. One of the things I like the most is that it is historically accurate.

    Have a great day!

Hi Ladies! Today's workout started with Body Beast Build Back and Biceps. My arms are quivering! I followed it with Shock Cardio Double Wave Pyramid HiiT right into RWH Plyo HiiT One and Abs 1. That was a good combo. No knee issues at all so I am happy!

Tami, hope the BC class went okay. Congratulations on the volleyball win!! Seems like it was a short season. The warm-ups and stretches in Body Beast kind of make me laugh. The final stretches are between 2 minutes and less than one and sort of useless except for loosening up a bit. The warm-ups vary, but they are all pretty short (less then 4 minutes). What makes me laugh is he always starts out with a light jog. This is not a Shaun T. jog!! This is a shuffle from one foot to the next for 10 seconds! I always wonder what is the point? Anyhow, from that he goes either into non-weighted or weighted moves for the specific body part (for example, for chest the warm up is a series of push-ups) and then finishes out with a final 15 or so seconds of jogging (aka shuffling). Despite my laughter at the jogging, they are pretty good, if short, warm-ups for the body part being worked. I like them much better than P90X (or X2) which are way too long for me, especially for strength training.

Thelma, great workout. Sorry about the plantar fasciitis. I sympathize because mine has been acting up too.....and seems to be alternating feet! Thankfully it is at its worst first thing in the morning and hasn't impacted my workouts. Changing shoes hasn't really helped. So I understand the frustration.

Laurie, sorry to hear you aren't feeling well. Good job getting in a good workout, though. Hopefully you will feel better as the day goes on. I always think about you on the last ab move in CCC!! I was wondering how it would feel on my knee because it seems such an unnecessarily risky move.....but I did fine. But that isn't my favorite Cathe core move of all time, that's for sure. Two of the Turbo Fire bonus workouts (TF 60 and TF HiiT 30) are my favorites of the whole series!! That is what makes me wonder what I am missing when I don't get the bonus workouts. But I am holding off on these Body Beast ones because I have a feeling I will be looking into the Hammer and Chisel series here soon. And then, of course, there are Cathe's new workouts! So I am tempering myself.....so far.

    See you tomorrow!

Hi Ladies ~ Well the BootCamp was surprisingly pretty good. We had that same sub-instructor from a couple weeks ago; probably from the last time I went actually. LOL Anyway, it was stations, then a cardio burst of some kind or 3 rounds of 10 burpees + 10 push-ups, high rep weight work and then on to the next station. So pretty good really. This a.m. was X10 (Cardio + Fat Burning Circuit) and tonight will be Insane-X with Katy.

We woke up to a light snow this a.m. Now it is just very wet and sideways raining because of the high winds we have right now. Just cold and Fall-Wintery like weather.

Laurel: Great job with the workouts and don't you just love that quivery feeling! You know you got em good then! Again, awesome to hear no knee issues. Thanks on the Vball win. Yes, the season(s) always seem kind of short but the Fall one especially. They are each only about 5 weeks and then the tourney, but sometimes with a holiday here and there the actual "weeks" go longer because we miss a weekend. Not this time so it flew by.
That is pretty funny about the "light jog" and I can see Segi all muscled up doing the shuffle-shuffle. At least I am relieved to hear it is better than P90X or P90X2 warm-ups. LOL Thank you for the info on those. So talk about "tempering" . . . you've been hearing my wish list of the 2 programs PLUS Cathe's new one will be here probably in December it sounds like or early January. I know forsure I will be going for either one or both of the BB and H&C programs as well. Good for DH, I will have something on my "list" for him at Christmas.
Do you have your shopping done for Thanksgiving next week? are you doing the big traditional dinner?

Laurie: Sorry to hear you aren't feeling 100% . . . hopefully just a temporary thing and today you are feeling a little back to normal or at least "improved". I'm glad you are liking STS! I guess my "adjustment" on the 1RM over the years has been updating my sheets. One year I did actually go in online, typed in the new figures and re-printed them all; since then I have changed several again. But that's ok, I have them all right where I want them now. Definitely off from the original though. Thank you for that info on H&C. I was trying to find it the other night on her website, but not FB.

Thelma: Way to go on the workout!! Always a great one. Sorry about the PF acting up. Maybe try switching your shoes back into what was working and see if it clears up. I am sure you are already going to try that but just in case! LOL Unfortunately on the color I only had one choice . . . HOT Pink and navy. We are talking HOT, BRIGHT HOT Pink, but that's ok. For only $50 to try them and so far I love them, I will enjoy the color.

Hope you ladies have a great evening! Tami

Hi Ladies, the rotation called for spinning today so that is what I did. I was lazy to use the KT tape for my PF and I used a brace I have for that today which I think was a good thing. It will take a little while for it to go away by the way it feels. Tomorrow is my last work day this week. I am a very disappointed about the weather though. It will rain Thursday and Friday so DH was quick to ask me if I still wanted to go and of course I still want to go. I told him we'll do different things than we normally do. Of course we may just end up at the outlets! LOL

Laurie, sorry you're not feeling well. Good for you for still getting workouts in! I hope the change of shoes helps my feet.

Laurel, Sounds like you did another one of your killer combos! Great job! Happy about your knees!!!
You know I think my feet take turns with the PF too but I'm not sure. I could've sworn it was my left foot before and this time is my right. I'm stiff in the morning too but I don't get out of bed until I do my stretching exercises for PF. Totally frustrating!

Tami, I'm glad your BC class was good! Great workouts! I'm sure you'll love Insanity tonight too!
Good to hear you're still loving the Zante's! Your color is the color I tried on at the store the first time I saw those shoes! I wanted that color and couldn't find it. I still haven't been able to find it in my size! I love the color I have now though. Tonight I ordered a new pair in black/white so I can wear them during the week to work and not be too flashy.

    Good night ladies!

    Morning Ladies,

My evening workout was Meso 2 Disc 17 Legs, really do love that one. I followed that up with Coremax #3, so I it appears I'm enjoying my med ball workouts. :D I think the only other one she uses the med ball is Bootcamp? This morning I was feeling better, so I did X10 Fat Burning. That was perfect, and will be getting in my yoga tonight.

Laurel, Great workouts, and those BB ones really sound great. LOL about thinking of me during that dang ab move, I still don't like that one. Everytime it comes up in a workout, I have to modify the heck out of it. Jillian loves to do that one also. LOL about the warm up and cool down that Sagi gives, I had a feeling that would be the case. I don't have those TF extra workouts, those are ones that I was wondering about. Will have to put those on my wish list, I'm enjoying the TF workouts more and more. I think that is because I know her moves better. At first they can be confusing. I'm planning on getting Cathe's On Demand in the near future, so after this series, I probably will not order anymore DVD's.

Tami, Glad to hear that bootcamp was a good one. Guess we had the same X10 feeling. I really enjoy the Fat Burning workout. I also like the fact that they are short, so they really work great for my morning workout. We have had that rain her also. It has been raining for two days, and then we are suppose to get snow. :p I have sheets also, and like you it takes a while before I update the computer. I try to update after I do a rotation, so that the next time I try it out they are more current. Sometimes I have to go down on the weight, but that is rare. Glad I could give you updated info on H&C.

Thelma, Good job on the spinning. My boss has PF, and he was just in Vegas running a 10K. I was surprised, because before that he was limping around. I'm sure that you will find something fun to do even if it is raining. Wonder if the place you are staying at has any ideas. I'm sure that today work will be slow, at least that is how it is for me when I have some time off.

    Have a great day!

Hi Ladies! Today was my last Body Beast workout in this phase, and I ended it with Legs. So killer!! Tomorrow I will start on the 'bulk' phase. These workouts are shorter but look tougher. I am anxious to give them a try. For cardio today, I did Rockout Knockout with Bonus Bag. <3 Perfect for these shaky legs.

Tami, so happy to hear about a good BC class! Maybe this instructor will be there more often and (finally) turn the class around a bit. Great morning workout too. You know how I love those X10 workouts. I haven't done my food shopping for Thanksgiving yet but have worked in the grocery list. Yikes. I am doing a mostly traditional dinner.....with some variations. Where I get into 'trouble' on Thanksgiving is really my insistence that almost everything be fully homemade. Processed food is such a timesaver! But, to me, it is worth the time and effort to make things from scratch as much as I can and I think it makes the meal feel more personal. But I know I will be exhausted on Friday! Looking forward to it though. Hard to believe it is next week, especially since there is a decided lack of wintery weather here. I must admit, I am a bit jealous of your light snow right now.

Thelma, sorry to hear about the weather forecast this weekend, but I think it is good you are still going. DH and I made a promise to each other when we first moved to England some 23 years ago that we would seize each opportunity to do something and not let weather get in the way. Boy have we had some great experiences in the rain! So hopefully you can find something fun to do--even if it outlet shopping! Hope your feet feel better soon.

Laurie, great workouts! Glad to hear you are feeling better. Cathe uses the Med Ball for her core work in Muscle Endurance too if you are looking for another workout. :p I think there are five bonus workouts with TF, and I only use two of them. But I think you would enjoy them, especially if you have time for TF60 some days. That one is definitely my favorite of the whole set, and probably would be in my top 10 list of favorite cardio workouts. Just something about the music and moves in that one that I really enjoy. I had the same troubles getting into TF when I first got them. They move so fast and her form and cuing aren't great, so I had trouble learning them. But once I got past that.....I learned to love them. But it took awhile.

    See you tomorrow.

Hi Ladies ~ Well a little excitement here in the Northwest! Yesterday was SOOOOO windy and it continued to pick up speed and even storm warnings going on. Up to 70 mph. Well needless to say we lost power at work around 4:30 so we all left and headed home. All the traffic lights were out, businesses, etc.... I only live like 8 miles from here and typically it takes me about 20 min to get home. It took over an hour in bumper to bumper. I found out today the gym actually had power and Katy held the Insane X class. Who knew ?? ... everyone seemed out. So at home we didn't have power until 8:30 and then it came on. Lots of damage around town, yards, golf courses but luckily nothing happened at our house other than a chunk of siding blew off. It was so windy all night plus a sideways rain came in. I didn't get very good sleep so no workout this a.m. will head to Spinning after work.
Today ironically is blue-ish sky and sunny but only about 42 degrees.

Laurel: Congrats on finishing up the first phase! Can't wait to hear your reviews on the next one. During the storm last night I was on my Ipad (DH had our router plugged into the same extension chord as a light, etc. that was hooked into a generator) LOL I called him "McGyver" At any rate, I read more on both BB and H&C .... BB is only around $39+ shipping on BeachBody right now. Very affordable  Watched a workout post of H&C as well that was on their "on demand" online. Looks good!

Laurie: Great job with STS Legs and this a.m. doing the X10 Fat Burn Circuit. It is a fun one and flies by forsure. All of those go by so quickly, even pieced together in the pre-mixes I think  As I was telling Laurel, last night I watched one of the H&C workouts online, looks really good. You'll have to check it out if you get a chance. I am very happy to hear you are feeling better.

Thelma: Way to get in your Spinning last night! I am glad to hear you are taping up your foot and hopefully it will feel better quickly!! Yes, that color is a bright, but fun combo that I have. Really loving those shoes  Thanks for the suggestion a long time ago because I probably would have never looked into them.

Hope you ladies have a great afternoon/evening ~ Until tomorrow! Tami

Hi Ladies, LIS Total Body Trisets Lower Body Split for me tonight. Tomorrow I will get up early to workout before we leave. Looks the weather will be better than expected. There is plenty to do around the Berkshires such as museums and historical houses. We wanted to go hiking but I don't think that will be possible on the wet terrain. I think the PF is better.

Laurie, you did X10 Fat Burning this morning? You're definitely you're feeling better! Great workouts! I can't believe your boss ran a 10K with PF! I'm sure the B&B we're staying will suggest plenty of indoor activities for us to do. I was busy at work so the day didn't feel extra long but I know the feeling!

Laurel, congratulations for finishing up that first portion of your BC program. What a combo tooo! I'm pretty sure we will go to at least one museum in the area. There is a Normal Rockwell and there is a contemporary art one that looks pretty cool.

Tami, I'm glad you got the power back last night and that your house is OK. Since I have flat and wide feet when I find a good pair of sneakers I always tell friends just in case they have a hard time finding shoes.

    Good night ladies!

    Morning Ladies,

I did Yoga Warrior 365 Versatile Warrior. Besides the constant chatter by Rudy (which I really didn't mind), it was a good workout. I like these somewhat beginner workouts, because you really do learn new things about form when you slow things down. He did have us hold poses for a very long time. I think that is what I liked the most about it. Rocket thought down dog was a good time to attack my face with kisses though, and we did a lot of them. :D This morning I did Turbo Fire 30, sure do enjoy that one for short but intense.

Only working a half day today, dd needs a model for a color tough up. So I decided that since I'm headed back in the direction of home, I should just take the afternoon off.

Laurel, Can't wait to hear how you like the Bulk workouts! Glad you enjoyed the RK workout. I'm getting excited about trying out her new kb workout. Thanks for the info on the TF bonus workouts. I checked out the cost yesterday, and will be putting them on my wish list. Sounds like you will be busy cooking on Thanksgiving. The only thing that I will be doing is making pies. We will have the girls and their boyfriends over on Sunday. That will be the day that I will be like you, cooking up a storm. I had forgotten about ME's abs, and remember that workout as being fun. I must like Med Ball workouts. :) I will probably do that one today to keep the theme going.

Tami, Wow on the storm, really doesn't sound fun to be in that traffic like that. Also glad to hear that the only damage your home suffered was siding, even though that can be expensive also. Funny that I have not checked out that on demand video. I did click on the link, but didn't look at it yet.

Thelma, Good workout! Have a wonderful time on your vacation! Yes I'm feeling much better, so I felt like I should up the intensity in the morning since it was yoga day.

    Have a great day!

Hi Ladies! I started my workout today with Body Beast Bulk Chest. Yowza!! This workout has all the same moves (for the most part) I have ever done for chest, but it really felt different to me. And by 'different' I really mean 'unbelievably tough'. :o Good thing it was only 30 minutes!! I can't quite describe why it was so tough except to say he takes the muscles to the point of exhaustion through a combination of exercises more than through a number of reps (as Cathe does). I was having to seriously drop down in weight by the end from what I normally use with chest. My muscles were shaking so bad. In other words......it was a fantastic workout! :p I actually can't wait to try it again to see how my muscles adapt. If I could get my thumbs up, this would get a huge thumbs up from me. ;) I followed it with X10 Low Impact into XT All Out Low Impact HiiT and Core 1.

Tami, yikes on the storm!! I am happy you got through it with only minor damage. High winds like that are definitely not my favorite thing. I will have to look for that Hammer and Chisel preview. I am very interested in that series right now since doing Body Beast. I think Body Beast is good value. I keep forgetting to mention that it does come with a cardio workout, a Total Body workout and P90X Plyo. I haven't looked at either the cardio or total body, and I probably will never look at the cardio. But I will the Total Body for sure. Right now, though, I find my muscles are getting enough that I haven't felt the need to add anything like a total body workout.

Thelma, hope your weekend goes well and the weather holds for you! Great job with the workout. So happy to hear your PF is improving.

Laurie, interesting sounding yoga workout.....made more interesting by Rocket! I will definitely be busy on Thanksgiving, but I am looking forward to it. Despite the hot Florida weather, planning this meal is actually getting me into the spirit for the Holidays, and I think I wouldn't be anywhere near that if we weren't doing this. Of course, this time of year, the Hallmark Channel and its Christmas movies are a mainstay on my TV, and even DH (who abhors sappy movies) is thinking it a better option than the news! Hope being a test model went well.

    Until tomorrow.

Hi Ladies ~ Last night's Spin class was great, so I was happy for that! This a.m. was STS Chest/Shoul/Bis and tonight I have the opportunity to get a workout in at home I think, so yay! We will see what I pick since it is an "add on" Things are going good weather wise, however I didn't realize hundreds of people are still without power in our area and aren't even on the radar of getting it fixed yet. One of them is in an area only a couple miles from me ..... so I am very thankful for our minimal inconvenience we had.

Laurel: That sounds like an A-M-A-Z-I-N-G workout if it left you feeling like that!! WooHoo  Love to hear it and again, thank you for the feedback. You wonder how a workout style can vary from one body part to the other when it is truly not something different than you have done before. Well I guess it is the "exhaustion" factor and how that is applied! Plus the feeling of not needing an add on at the end of the week for Total Body. Even with STS I still feel the need for a Total Body workout. Nice work and great follow up (as always) with the cardio and core.

Laurie: Great job getting in some Yoga! How are you doing with the choreography on TF? I know the few that I tried it took be a couple "rewinds" to get some of the moves down. But I do like the workouts I have done. Enjoy your half day and getting to be a model again for your daughter

Thelma: Awesome job getting in LIS Lower Body before leaving on your trip and great news to hear your PF is feeling better. My feet are not flat or wide so I am surprised they are feeling so good. I would say I have the medium style of foot for width, not wide, but not narrow. The part I really love on these shoes is how it hugs my heel and supports the top of my foot as well; hoping that continues and as they break down a bit it doesn't feel less supportive.

Talk to you ladies tomorrow ~ Tami

    Morning Ladies,

My hair turned out great, and dd's instructor said that she was a natural for being a cosmetologist! Now this lady owns one of the premier salons in this area, so that is very high praise. Watching my dd work is truly amazing, probably because she is my baby. How and when did she grow up to be such an amazing woman. <3 The instructor said that we did a good job raising her. Made me tear up some. Anyway after a short shopping trip, and getting the dogs from daycare I did Meso 1 Disc 5 Back and Triceps. That is about all the time I had, and I don't think I could have done the ab workout. This morning I did Jillians Kickbox Fastfix Workout 2, and then followed that up with Muscle Endurance Abs. :D Great combo, and now I have to decide what my theme ab work will be for next week. I'm thinking that the 10 min. Solution workouts might work good for that.

Laurel, Sounds like an awesome workout! Looks like we all had an X10 experience this week. I almost feel like keeping that in my rotation for once a week. It did work really well for the yoga day. LOL, I of course have that channel on all the time also. But my family makes fun of me for watching them. ;) I'm getting excited about the coming holiday, I will be off all week so I can get some things done before we head to see my family on the weekend.

Tami, Great workouts! We only had our power out for a lengthy time once, and I wish it had been when it wasn't so hot. No AC and our freezer had to be emptied. Not good, but then again if it is cold out with no heat that probably isn't fun either. Had to bundle up this morning for the walk, and they are predicting lots of snow starting tonight. Sure will be interesting to see what Rocket things of snow. :D The one thing I like about TF is that she goes from the top, so I do catch on by about the third time. I have a hard time doing the new to class option on her workouts, because they seem to move slower.

    Have a great day!
    Laurie
