    Tricky to answer...

    Favorite band (long term): Garbage, but I definitely like their older stuff more than the new.
    Favorite band (currently): Rise Against, a lot of their lyrics are shockingly inspiring for a punk rock band.

    Most hated band/song/anything: Any rap artist, any rap song. I just can't wrap my head around how it's music.

    YES! I'll never forget my first time seeing them live at a punk show yearrrrs ago and when they started playing (none of us had ever heard of them~this was maybe 12 years or so ago) we all just looked at each other like wtf?! By the end none of us were in our seats because we couldn't help but dance our *kitten* off~ we all fell in love with them that night!! Great memories!! :happy:

    No, but seriously, several months ago there was thread for people to name their top 5 bands/musicians and a lot of the people named U2 (including myself) on their list so it's kinda odd seeing them so disliked in this thread. But that's your prerogative, of course!:smile:

    You are not alone! I like U2 okay, and I've never seen them disliked as much as in this thread.

    Anyhow, I love Queen, Pink Floyd, R.E.M., and Peter Gabriel-era Genesis.

    Like so many of you, I hate most of the popular bands of today, like LMFAO, Black Eyed Peas, etc...
