    I honestly do neither. I don't check it out unless I hear it numerous times but more times than not I ignore it.

    When you hear a noise outside late at night, do you:

    Freeze and be quiet. Maybe pull the covers over your head, and hold your breath?

    Get up and get the gun to check it out?

    Yep, now I'm the second option. I have gone to the door with no pants on, but my glock in my hand, more than once.

    Get up and check it out. When I was 12 I chased off a peeping tom (single mom worked nights and I was the babysitter). When I was 19, I was almost... well, I was almost... raped... but I grabbed a decorative knife off the wall and sliced his arm open. When I was 20 I chased off a burglar with a screwdriver. I don't back down. They will kill me first lol:noway:

    It depends....if it's outside the house then I check it out, but if it's only outside my room and therefore in the house I very definitely freeze and hide under the covers before I start praying!!!

    Depends how ballsy and confident i'm feeling that day. Ha, one day i'm super ballsy, the next I'm a wimp and don't want to face anything. I'm temperamental :P Excellent and random question though!
