Very informative. My only criticism is that BMI is a flawed calculation

Well I'm hoping this is just for interest only and not something on which to base your diet plans!

Not what I expected, haha, apparently I am below average in the United States, with a lower BMI than 76% of women in my age range, but above the global average, higher BMI than 57% of women my age. I am most like women from Swaziland...

    I'm 30, 5'6", 116lbs from the United States.

You're most like someone from Ethiopia*

You have a lower BMI than 95% of females aged 30-44 in your country
You have a lower BMI than 83% of females aged 30-44 in the world

that was depressing - i thought i was doing so well in getting in the normalish range but I am still heavier than 60% of canadian women my age and 74% of women my age globally. Now, to be fair, I do not aspire to be in the Ethiopian BMI, but crap.

Looks like I am most like someone from chad-only have ever heard of that from the kids movie "Cats and Dogs"! Can you tell what I've been doing for the past 11 years?!

This, however gives me a false sense of security, which has been my problem now for years! Says I have a lower bmi than 89% of women in the usa and 69% of women in the world. Got to add my pic of my lovely self in my suit.....that will remind me. HA!

    Thanks for sharing!

If everyone in the world had the same BMI as me it would add 9,596,204 tonnes to the total weight of the world's population :noway:

Honduras -- it's crazy that I am overweight, yet apparently less overweight than 67% of US women in my age range. My husband is like someone from Brazil. I feel pretty good about that. Obviously we have work to do but we are making progress every day. :)

But... what the hell is going on in Tonga and Micronesia?! Wow! Apparently the food is GOOD!

You have a lower BMI than 71% of females aged 45-59 in your country (US)

You have a higher BMI than 61% of females aged 45-59 in the world

I was surprised at the US statistic! I am 5'6" and weigh 166. Somehow that just doesn't seem right.

I'm most like someone from Chile.

My BMI is lower than 62% of ladies in my age range in the US. I'm smaller than average. Wahooo!

That's pretty significant for me. :)

Well that made me want to kill myself.

Hilarious - not the best motivation i agree.

I'm Botswana - sounds like a place where people may be in famine - the opposite of my kitchen cupboard.
